I love the sound of the bread Chookie. Mab that isn't very good at all. Even in our supermarkets you are asked if you have signed in or used the QR code.

I am going to make some muffins using the semi dried strawberries. They have to be used within a couplie of days. I also have a Classic loaf rising and the starter growing for my rye SD.

RAL won’t eat frittata. We occasionally have my Quiche which I love. I use different veggie each time. He was put off frittata by one my sister made. Absolutely awful.
Tonight crumbed lamb rump steaks. Steamed veggies.

I had a chuckle at this. My Dad would never eat quiche, but if Mum called it an egg and bacon pie he would eat it. He may have been stirring her too.
We are having marinated chicken on top of roasted veggies.

I dried some strawberries in my AF today. The instructions said to put them on paper but it kept blowing around and I was worried it would catch fire. I ended up putting them directly onto the base of the AF. 70* for about 1 hour. They are only semi dried and I will use them in some muffins tomorrow. They have a very intense flavour now.

I used to think quiches always had a base but we have Chookie's yummy recipe. This is sort of a frittata thing. It was very nice. Like a zucchini slice but nicer.
Tonight we are having home made sausage rolls and veggies.

Yes. Cut a pice off the bottom of the sweet potato and put it on top of a small jar or vase using toothpicks to stop it sinking in. It will shoot and then you break the shoots off and pop them in water as though they are flowers. They will grow roots over the next couple of weeks and you can plant them.
Next time you want to grow them just take bits from the plant and root them.
Sweet potatoes will only grow from a rooted cutting.

We had pea and ham soup from the freezer followed by this Vegetable Pie with a few extra veggies. https://andanyways.com/2021/02/04/cookbook-corner-in-praise-of-veg-by-alice-zaslavsky/

It was very nice.

We must do our roses soon too.
We attended my Aunts funeral and I caught up with lots of cousins that I rarely see. I think 2 of them were about 65 years since I saw them. ( my Aunt's sons). One of them said that I had changed. I thought that was rather funny.

I love growing indoor sweet potatoes from a bit that is cut off the potato. Every time I do DH steals it and plants it in the garden. It has become a bit of a joke between us,. We have plants everywhere. Yesterday I decided to dig part of one plant up. We now have sweet potatoes everywhere, We still have lots of area to dig up.

Yum Chookie. We only have new sweet potatoes.
We're having a chicken, corn and pasta dish tonight. I think the 31 will come out of the cupboard as I can't get my pasta machine pasta to cook correctly in either the 5 or 6.
