Thank you so much Chookie, I love it. It's a brilliant photo with no reflections. Well done.

Whata orgeous cake.

Not a lot here as its only 9.44am. I have done the ironing with DH's help and have some starter out ready to use later in the day. One thing about the warmer weather the SD likes it.

No Judy, Mum never made mock chicken. When I went to boarding school they used to give us mock chicken sandwiches for lunch!! I hated it and would always trade it with one of the day girls who always had ryvita and cheese. It was preferable to the mock chicken.

Tonight's dinner is Chilli con carne from the freezer and I am going to try a cauliflower waffle recipe.

Do you look at the Myer Christmas windows Chookie?

We had friends round this morning and then this afternoon we went with DD to look at a couple of houses to build.

Phew, that would be around 32 crumpets.

No cooking here today, I even used rolls from the freezer for the haloumi burgers.

DS sounds a handy cook to have nearby Denise.

We are having a sort of stir fried rice with smoked salmon.

I don't blame you Marina. I hade never tasted them until about 25-30 years ago when we were travelling over east. They were always far too  expensive to buy here. We tasted some and were hooked. They are delicious.

Good news about the rain. I hope K Atie wasn't half way to Melbourne.
It's rather hot here today, I'm sure it has only been done because the test match is being played here this time.  ;D
