The mini focaccia I made were just ok. I like the idea, but next time I will use the No Fuss recipe and do them.

Definitely a hard year for all. The school leavers were allowed to have their schoolies time down at Dunsborough. It all seems to have gone well. They said there was between 8000-9000 there.
I bought 5 packets of icecreams on Wednesday when I did the shopping. DD and DH often have one for dessert. DD had one last night and said it had been melted. We checked two other boxes and they seemed the same. I returned them all this morning and got my $$ back.

JulieO you have me spot on today. My legs need shaving and I'm trying to do an online order for DD but it seems VERY busy.

Gosh, things are hot over there. Stay cool everyone.
Chookie that fan sounds great, I wish something like that was available when we bought ours. It is so useful in the hot weather.

I’m really sorry but I laughed at your wording of the chooks loving your fruit loaf Chookie. Would it have made a bread and butter pudding?
I’m trying Sous vide strawberries in my TM 5 this morning. I bought a blade cover and wasn’t impressed with it, so I’m hoping these will be nice.

I hope to try some small Potato Foccacia later today.

I  have a feeling I made a Bourbon BBQ sauce by Nic Moretti years ago. It was very nice. I will check it out this evening when we get back from Rockingham.

I picked up some Diastatic Malt powder at the bread shop. I guess it is like malted grain. The suggest a teaspoon for sourdough loaves.

Chookie I have made quite a few of the Women's Weekly Christmas cakes. The Irish Fruit Cake and the Celebration Fruit cake spring to mind. I will have a look a bit later on today as I have to go with DH to a meeting about MIL. Just the annual review that was delayed by Covid.

Another  couple of lovely WW cakes are the Golden Fruit cake and the Grand Mariner Fruit Cake. These are all recipes from some of the old WW books. If you want any of the recipes let me know.
Mum and I used to each make a different recipe each year and swap......in the olden days. 😀😀😀😀

Judy that will be wonderful for all 3 of you. Have fun. I do like the cheap rate. 😀😀
Yummy looking Christmas puddings Chookie. I did that one year and then we had one every now and than with custard. We donít have Christmas pudding at Christmas. Dad decreed it when I was but a mere lump, about 1948. 😀😀😀😀😀
