GD is down from Queensland for a few days and she wanted to have a final campfire and roast. We had a lovely day on Saturday with all the family the weather was kind and the food and wine were good. Camp oven roast lamb, scalloped potatoes, coleslaw and bread rolls with apple cake and cream for dessert and a couple of bottles of nice wine. It was a bit sad that this was to be our last time together on their bush property but we have lots of wonderful memories.

Man the camp roast looks delicious , what a beautiful way to say goodbye . Mornings are hard to get up at the moment, I jumped out of bed put the steel cut oats on and back to bed for 28 mins !! Went for a long walk hour and a quarter ! Felt so much better . Cooking and trying to keep the fire going today .

I’m glad you were able to have your camp roast etc Margaret. Some lovely memories to cherish.
I went back to my dermatologist today to have a couple of biopsies done. I’m pretty certain they will be ok.

Mab, that is so nice. Great memories for everyone.
Finally finished all the paperwork for a Probus trip to Lakes Entrance in October. There are 5 going from our club and I somehow ended up with the administation. I will be more careful next time.
Now I feel I can start making the final arrangements for my Ghan trip.

When do you leave for your Ghan trip Chookie?
Friday, Cookie. Hope to catch up with Judy in Adelaide. This is my first trip travelling by myself. I’m going on the Ghan with 2 side trips with Outback Spirit. 8 days Kings Canyon and Ulutu and 3 days Kakadu from Darwin.

It sounds wonderful Chookie. I believe the food on the train is rather nice. Beautiful scenery all round too. You will have a lovely time.
It’s DH’s birthday tomorrow and friends took us out for coffee this morning.

Chookie enjoy your trip on the Ghan it sounds exciting. Cookie Happy Birthday to your DH.
I've spent a couple of hours this afternoon sorting through old family photos. Most of these are from my parents and there are just so many of them. I have sorted some for family members but there are a lot with people I don't know so will probably have to throw them out. I still have more to go through.

Safe travels Chookie , looking forward to your culinary delights . It’s very cold this morning hopefully the sun comes out and I get the washing outside. We are thinking of going to the Sheep show in Bendigo tomorrow, all going well . Although the cold might stop DH .

DH said thank you for all the birthday wishes.
Margaret that is a big job. I had to do it for Dad’s brother. I felt bad throwing away photos, but not knowing the people made it impossible.
Today we went to a NFG lunch. Not a lot of ladies go, but it is always enjoyable. DH won an outdoor first aid kit, it includes a snake bite kit.
