We had coffee with friends this morning that last rather a long time. We have a McDonalds between us so we usually meet there. The coffee isn't too bad and we aren't tempted to eat anything.

I noticed those cakes too Margaret and was wondering about them. Like you I find that packet cakes have a particular taste that I'm not fond of. I had a mini bake in yesterday, a SD loaf, a Classic Loaf and a large sultana cake.

Your Melbourne day sounds  lovely Chookie. I'm glad its a little warmer for you Denise and you get to spoil GS,
We are heating up here and it is to be 31 on Sunday when we are going up to Bullsbrook for a car display day. It's about 54km each way.

It looks interesting Chookie. I spend hours looking through my books as I'm sure you do too.

So true Judy. Especially now that we can all use our machines as an extra pair of hands and donít necessarily use a recipe.
DH made some pea and ham soup this morning. He always blitzes the veggies in the thermomix.  This morning he sort of purťed them.  😀😀 we still have another couple of ham bones in the freezer from Christmas so he will get practise.

Iím not overly fond of eggplant but DD planted some and they are fruiting nicely.  I did need to pollinate them. Does anyone have ideas for using them as they become ready please?

I asked in another post if you cooked the trout Chookie. I see you did. I'm sure it was delicious.
I realised at lunch time that we only had two slices of bread left, one Classic and one SD. I have made Chookie's No Fuss into a loaf of bread and that will do until I make some more. It makes a lovely loaf and is so quick.

We had a lovely, but cool day here. So different to yesterday which was cold, wet and windy. Last night we nearly froze at the footy but we didn't get wet.
Judy' s team sorted my team out big time. They thrashed us. It was well deserved as they played brilliantly.

What a beautiful trout. Did you eat it Chookie?
K Atie I hope DM' s pain improves. Poor thing.
DD and I went to the shops, she was after a couple of things. We went early and by the time we had had our coffee it was extremely busy so we left.

We're having pizza tonight. I'm just making the bases now using Jamberie's pizza bases. They are the best.

Itís very, very windy here Judy. From the SW. It will probably be swirling in the stadium, a lot. So the toss could be important.
