We are having a Taco salad that was in the Women's Weekly. It's from their new book Happy Salads. If its nice I will look at buying the book.

I did the floors again and a tiny bit of ironing. I started my next week's menu plan.

Chookie what are medlars please? I know I should google it.

DH requested a savoury biscuit. DD had saved a recipe from some where or o;ther that were cheese and rosemary twists. they are in the oven now.

These are delicious. They are quite puffy when you eat them. Next time I will add a bit of cayenne.

I think Australians should be pretty pleased with themselves at the moment. Apart from the cruise ships and people who have come in from overseas we seem to be doing fairly well. I feel so very sad when someone loses their life. There is a 41 year old lady in hospital here from the Ruby Princess. She was unwell on board. She has been in a forced coma for about 8 days and is in ICU. She had some health problems before she caught Covid 19. :( :(
It was warm again here today. 34/35.

Oh Chookie that would have kept any onlookers amused.
Iím beginning to look for jobs Judy. Did the bathrooms today, ironed and washed.
We have cream tiles most of the way through the house and with 3 of us in here it gets very yucky. DH even brings in the grease on his clothes and shoes. Keeps me out of mischief.

We had a roast pumpkin and feta quiche. I served it with green veggies and a whipped feta. It was very nice. I will try to pop it up if I remember.

I'm at a bit of a loss here today, no special reason. All the housework is done, the ironing and washing are up to date and we have enough bread, biscuits etc. I sat down to have a read and fell asleep.  ;D ;D ;D

When my blades broke I met a lovely lady who has been a consultant for many years. A 6 would be lovely to play with while we are stuck here at home.
We had a surprise last night, just as DD and Dh got back from their evening walk it began to rain. We only had 3mm but it is quite cool and overcast today. It's only going to be 36 on Thursday now. :( :( :(

Weíre having home made pizza tonight too.  I will make the dough about 4 as I let it rise only once, after I have rolled it out onto the trays.

Iíve seen that coffee online KAtie. What is it like? https://www.notquitenigella.com/2020/04/01/dalgona-coffee-how-to-make/

Iíve made a batch of Chookieís Hot Cross Buns. They are so much nicer than any others. We kept 6 and I took the others to a couple down the road. She is my age and he is in his late 80ís. She made us some spring rolls the other day and they were lovely.

Warming up here. I usually stand over my thermomix when I am kneading bread. I was wondering how consultants are selling machines now?
