It is something we can do over and over, thereís always something weíve decided we no longer need. We have a local giveaway group here which is handy for getting rid of stuff then thereís the op shop around the road as well.  Itís amazing to see the generosity of many of our members who could quite easily sell their items using online sites.

Love Kirsty Kreme, I always had one if I was going through the airport in Melbourne but we have our own here now too - only been there once on the way home with the kids from a city function. They are the lightest donut youíll find anywhere.

Another lovely visit Marina.
Today I defrosted and re-organised the drawers in my freezer.  Again I will have to start living out of the freezer and not cook anymore meals.  I did make some more soup to put in there today but that will be the last for a while.  Last nightís Uber delivery was a bit hit and miss, I was able to eat half the sweet corn soup but the Singapore noodles with veggie dish was too spicy for me. It wasnít wasted though, I turned it into a Laksa this morning and it was really nice - 4 more packs for the freezer.

Good question K Atie, youíd have thought someone would have noticed the difference in DSís legs.  Question is, what can they do about it?

I can never visit Ikea without coming out with heaps of things I didnít go there for, itís a fascinating shop.

Chookie are you saying that the beautiful linen in the guest room I used is now not used in your new house.  I felt a very special guest in that room.

Take away is nice occasionally K Atie, the hot relish was just too hot by the sounds of it.
I have a friend coming tonight and weíre going to order a Uber delivery, hopefully Iíll be able to find something suitable now that Iíve expanded my food choices.

Nice buys Marina.  I love buying new quilts and Iíll be looking for one soon to replace my summer one. Last night I had to make an emergency trip to have my glasses tightened, just made that particular store before they closed at 7 pm.  Without my glasses I couldnít even see the screws to tighten them.  Whilst at the shopping centre I had a bit of a browse and came home with a pair of casual loafers plus I ended up in Kathmandu where I bought thermal underwear to wear to the football this season.  Summer hasnít been warm enough for me so I think I might find winter a bit trying this year, hopefully the 2 items will help.

An interesting question K Atie as Iíve not had that problem.  Mr Google came up with this though, perhaps you could try it.
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 cup of water
Mix the lemon juice and the water and submerge your sliced fruit in the liquid. Let soak for a few minutes and youíre good to go.

Your soup looks nice to me cookie, luckily Iíve been able to have it all summer.  Cake looks good too.

Thank you cookie.
Youíre finding plenty of recipes to try with your green tomatoes Chookie.  Iím not up with green tomatoes, are they a type of tomato or are you picking them before they ripen?
