Lovely meals Marina. This morning I made a batch of Teninaís Caramelised garlic and later today Iíll be making a Walnut pesto from the same book For Foodís Sake. A Keto noodle-less chicken soup is on the plan too.

I had a few problems with the tea strainer girls so I ended up taking it off the chain and then I had to secure each half together with string as it came apart in the first lot of cumquat marmalade   yesterday. All good then thank goodness, it was so much easier once I worked out what needed to be done.

Iím going well here. Bacon, egg and mushrooms for breakfast, beef salad for lunch and Iíll be making chicken soup for tea. Last night I made a rosti out of turnip seeing as I canít eat potato, surprising what you can find to take the place of forbidden foods. I think a low calorie diet is harder Chookie, I was always hungry on that diet but with Keto Iím not looking for snacks between meals at all. I often donít have tea until 7 because Iím just not hungry. Good luck Chookie. Marina your meals sound delicious.

Hi DJ, good to hear you are getting on with your life and still using your TMX. The forum is very quiet these days but from time to time some of our early members pop back in like you have to say hello. Wishing you all the best.

Thanks Denise, itís a start I guess.

Anyone can grow radishes cookie, they must be the easiest thing in the world to grow from seed.

Yes the diet is just that cookie.  Today I bought a few things needed for different recipes Iíve seen but need to go to Costco as well.

I had a bit of a cook up tonight to top up my freezer meals and feed me for the rest of the week.
Tuna mornay, crustless broccoli quiche, Parmesan radish bake and creamy mushrooms.

Nice baking cookie, is the Pickled red onion nice?

Marina I started on a keto diet at the weekend, enjoying the research for recipes. Iíve lost 3 kgs since starting at the gym so now hoping this way of eating will get rid of some fat! If Uni and Gert  can do it, itís worth a try. Donít want to lose too much - 7 kilos perhaps.
