I hope your van didnít leak Denise!  It can be pretty hairy inside a van during a storm, how did Chance cope with it?

Good luck to all who have received that beautiful rain yesterday, I hope you didn't get too much to cause problems though. Poor old South Australia missed out completely.  At least it's cooler this week.

Gosh I wouldnít get that much ironing in 3 months or so cookie, I have a lovely steam iron now though so ironing is not such a chore.  I do allow the basket to pretty well fill up before doing any ironing though.  I agree that some things just have to be ironed but try and buy things that donít.

Gravy sounds delicious cookie, I was looking at a Keto one very similar last night and have printed it out - no flour in that one of course.  Will compare the two later.

Itís great to hear of so many people doing their bit for bushfire victims, be that animals or humans.
Itís heartwarming to hear some of the things people are doing.  Well done to your DD Chookie and cookie, such a waste and a shame your friendís efforts were thwarted by bureaucracy.

Hopefully I will stay well and the weather will be kind to us.  4 of us went on a day outing with this company before Christmas so this prompted 2 of us to join and therefore get a small discount on trips. Itís nice to sit back and be taken places where we wouldnít drive ourselves.

Itís been decades since Iíve been to Mannum Chookie and I do enjoy boat cruises, they are so relaxing on the river.  You probably werenít the only ones to bottom out going onto the ferry, I like  ferries too - theyíre so quaint.

I received a brochure listing this yearís mystery tours, day tours and longer trips away this morning from a bus tour company I joined in December.  Some mystery tours Iíll be going with a friend but weíve both booked other tours that suit one and not the other.

I booked 3 mystery day tours with my friend, a BBQ mystery tour on my own on Anzac Day and Iím on a wait list for a mystery BBQ trip on Australia Day (that one filled very quickly). Then thereís a Mannum cruise tour booked in April on my own. My gf has booked a 4 day trip, I canít do that many nights away just yet. One maybe but they didnít have any that short.  The trip on Anzac Day gets back to the city at 4pm and I have a 7.20 football match that night so Iíll stay in the city and go straight to the football.  There were lots of Mystery tour and longer tour dates but I had to work in with my gym outing group trips Iíd already booked for the first 3 months of this year and I steered away from most gym days except 1.  Now I just have to stay well, so does Mum I guess!

I really dislike having to work out the macros in recipes, itís so time consuming, I like making recipes that have all the figures worked out for me.  For lunch today I just fried up some mushrooms, zucchini slices, a couple of spring onions and a leftover piece of fresh tomato. When it cooked down I added some cream and fried an egg to go with it.

Walked into the nursing home and 2 people commented on my weight loss - I must be doing something right.

Iím also pen addicted but the darn things keep moving from one place to another and I can never find those in my handbag unless I empty it.  If I go to heaven I hope never to see another pen up there!

LOL Cookie, so DH was dumped back home so that DD could do her own thing.  Hilarious, were his feelings hurt or did he understand what heís like when he isnít the driver?

Comfort food Denise, I wish it was that time of the season for us here!
I just ate all the bits and pieces in the fridge to get rid of them tonight so it was a bit of this and a bit of that - a free meal really.

Thanks Marina, I have just managed to work out how to use the one Chookie told me about but Iíll have a look at this one too at some stage.  I need another few hours in the day to sit with the iPad on my lap, itís very time consuming with al the reading there is to do when you change your way of eating.
