I read this book last night and it certainly gets the thumbs up from me even though I have no allergies whatsoever.  Jo has always had a great following so there is no doubt this book will be a real winner, we have all been waiting for years for her to write a book.
I made a list of a few items I would need to make some of her recipes, it's not that long as I will still use my normal products in most of her recipes.

I found many of the recipes had quite a long list of ingredients but, in the case of herbs & spices, they are things we would normally have on hand anyway.  I love that her recipes are for a bigger family, we can halve them or in my case perhaps I will do 1/3 of some recipes.

A great book Jo, congratulations to you for finally getting it out there and to HO, thanks for my copy and the 2 for another giveaway competition.

Hi Judy, thank you for the kind review! So happy you like it :)
I haven't managed to get on here for a while, so busy! I mostly answer questions on my QC chat group, but I'll try and answer any questions here too.

Thanks for all the encouragement and support over the last few years, guys!!

Thanks Jo, it would be lovely to see you posting on the forum especially if there are any queries with recipes from the book.  We all know how busy you are but I know it's appreciated when those who write books take the time to check back in to see how everything is going.

I'm really enjoying the book and finding I can make quiet a few recipes as I have many of the items in the pantry already or as Judy has pointed out herbs & spices etc you would stock anyway. It's highlighted to me how much we have changed the way we cook over the pass 6 months because of DH & his diet.

Jo's blog & now book shows how you can make wonderful tasty food while being healthy or dealing with allergies/food intolerances.

I like the additional information in the book - tips, ingredient substitutes, glossary of pantry items and soaking & activating.

I've been thinking about getting a dehydrator & after seeing this is how Jo makes her coconut yoghurt, it's gone higher up on the to buy list. I would be Interested what brand Jo has.

Well done Jo.

I have just ordered Jo's book, I tried to hold out but didn't last long. I love her blog.  Jo has achieved so much and shown how extremely useful the thermomix can be for families with dietery difficulties to overcome. Well done Jo and thanks.

I've been following Jo since I started here on the forum. I love her approach to food and her clever adaptations. I don't have any allergies, but I do feel we all rely too much on wheat and dairy in our diets, so I do like to vary my grains and I tend to drink nut milks rather than dairy milk in my tea and coffee.

Jo has done a fantastic job with this book, nothing has been left to chance and there's a comprehensive ingredients list and substitutions are also listed. I give it the three thumbs up!!! ;D
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

It's a wonderful book. I will try and change a few of my "bad habits" and slowly move towards her ways I think. I look at how she is not overweight and wonder if she does some form of strenuous exercise on the side or whether she is a born greyhound, or whether it's diet related? Just give me some skinny!

I certainly didn't get any of those genes.  :-\ :-\ :-\. Jo is certainly a great advertisement for her cooking. I'm not sure I could afford the amount of nuts she uses though.

We were involved in one many years ago. It was fine at first but then it fell to the same few to go and buy the stuff and share it out. Everyone else had excuses, oops reasons why they couldn't do it. That was only for fruit and veggies though.

At last I have a copy of Jo's book.  I have only managed a quick read so far.  It looks great, I too like the sound of her way of eating and would like to adapt to more of it.

I love this book and have cooked so many of her recipes - some a number of times.  It is my most used thermomix book :) I love the fact that I have been using my varohma more as well. My doctor has recently put me of a gluten and dairy free diet trial and this book has been SO helpful.
