Did you line your bread tin Katie?  Was that the problem, it stuck?  It seems to be one of those weekends, glad I haven't done much this weekend.

DD, they are the flattest cream puffs I've seen since I made my first batch pre-TMX many years ago  ;D  Better luck next time, looking forward to see a successful photograph.

Yes it stuck to the tin Judy  :(

No I didn't line the bread tin - I was distracted whilst making the bread by several things including an argument with DH (we never argue  ???).  I completely forgot what I was doing and didn't line the tin.  I thought I sprayed the tin with canola oil, but it was actually olive oil.  A complete stuff-up and the bread was stuck fast.  When it did come out, it was in 3 pieces.

We had some with dinner.  My DH said it's probably a blessing it didn't work out - it tastes awful and at least we don't have to eat it!  Don't you just love them sometimes  :-))

Poor Katie, it sounds as if you were destined to have an argument this weekend - if not during the bread making then most definitely after it with DH's comment.  I'll have to have a talk to that lad  ;)

DD if I was on a diet (but I'm not) that plate of cream puffs would certainly make me want to go off it.  Bet you were pleased you tried again and had success.

Afternoon tea for our very good neighbors. Rae looks after our cat whenever we go away and yesterday when we got home from Perth I thought my front lawn looked like it hadn't grown since 2 weeks ago. It turned out that Jim had mowed my lawn when he did his.

They are the type of neighbours we all should have DD, certainly not the types we see on current affair programmes from time to time.

It's got 3 tablespoons cornflour in the recipe so I have slapped it in fridge with glad wrap over the top, and hopefully it will thicken or set a bit so I can drop them into the frying pan and shallow fry that way. Just makes me cross when a recipe is not tested prior.

Actually they turned out ok in the end. I used baking paper and a little splash of OO and they worked out beautifully, tasted fine. Didn't like the salad I made to go with it. Jeez I'm fussy too well fed.

DD you do have a lovely neighbour. We are similarly blessed. Our lovely neighbour does our lawn when we travel and we do his when he is over seas. He is so nice he often does the verge part when we are home. Then DH has to rush out and do the edges. Our verges run together and look lovely thanks to him.
