Cake looks lovely CP.

Today have made Vegetarian sausage rolls with ice puff pastry.  Lasangne.  Walnut, Apricot & Raisin Bread  and Nigella's Breakfast Bars iced with Strawberry yogurt icing.

Rojan Josh in the slow cooker at the moment, along with a loaf of sour dough bread (using the rye starter I received from Karen).  I'm happy as the sour dough is rising.

Also happy as I successfully made my first batch of yoghurt overnight.  It's really thick and creamy which surprised me.  Now I just need to work out what to do with 2 litres of yoghurt  :D
Is the rogan josh from the WW cookbook Katie? I've made that a couple of times, love it!
We've been out most of the day so not much time for cooking. I've got a loaf of no fuss high bread in the oven, also made choc chip cookies as cupboards are bare. Defrosting hoisin chicken for dinner.

Marie, are Nigella's Breakfast Bars in one of her books?

Yes, we like them especially my DH.  I don't usually ice them I have been experimenting with making yogurt icing and am very pleased with the result. To press the mix down I use a piece of baking paper on top and also line the tray with baking paper.  You do need to cut them whilst warm as the recipe suggests  as they set very firm.  Don't over cook them or they will be too hard and you may break a tooth (happened to a friend of mine) she overcooked them.

I made Nigella's little lemon puddings last night. They turned out really well.
As I was cleaning up I looked in the fridge and realised I had forgotten to add the 125gms of butter  :-)) you wouldn't have been able to tell though, they were lovely. :D
