Chit Chat / Re: What are you cooking today?

I went to Costco yesterday and couldnít resist buying myself a kg pack of baby rainbow carrots and I like to cook the whole pack if I have to use the oven.  I cooked up sweet potatoes, pumpkin, just enough broccolini for lunch and a bunch of beetroot as well.  At the end of the cooking time for most of the veggies (not the beetroot) I added a piece of Barramundi from the 600g piece I bought there too. A delicious lunch so I enjoyed a glass of wine as well.

Happy to hear the news is good for your DH Margaret, like Ral he will adjust to what he can and cannot do even if he doesnít like the restrictions.  Good luck with the mice and have fun with your new stove once itís connected.

Iíve had the same problem for a few days Julie and I thought it must have been the way I slept too, I was still able to do the weights at gym though without too much trouble. Lucky you having a DH to massage the spot, itís nice when husbands step up to the plate to help.

Good idea to keep back the sauce until later, it looks delicious Julie.
I made crumbed chicken tenderloins to have with the leftover veggies from my last batch. I do enough veg for 3 meals.

Good idea Michele, itís a very stressful time for everyone dealing with the Covid problem.

Chookie itís a huge task ahead for the Victorian Premier and especially the police doing their job.  I imagine they will have many disgruntled residents to deal with over coming days but I hope this lockdown helps the situation over there.  Something had to be done with those numbers going through the roof on a daily basis.  I hope you both enjoyed Ralís birthday lunch, that would have been a special treat for me seeing as I have to stay away from fish and chip shops now.

I have my kettle, air fryer and Thermomix on the benches Michele. I would like everything on the bench so that I donít have to search cupboards looking for things LOL. Since I had the kitchen renovated I canít seem to put my hand on things as easily as I used to so I might have to do some resorting I think.

Thanks Julie, I also use wholemeal pasta and a serving for diabetics is 1/3 cup cooked (70g), thatís not a lot but itís OK for me as I donít need to eat a lot of pasta.  Next time Iím at Woolies Iíll compare the nutritional information of some of the different types of pasta.

We get into habits Julie but hair definitely looks better on the day we wash and blow it.

I used to wash my hair every second day cookie, not because it was oily, it just seemed to lose body if I left it any longer than that. It had become so dry and brittle, now itís so soft.  Using the product, which you can apply to wet or dry hair, I probably wash it every 4 days now.
