Oh Chookie that is a wonderful post, it brought a smile to my face and a tear to my eye. I can just picture Ral on the ride-on mower and it must have felt so good to him after all this time unable to do it. Good on you both for throwing caution to the wind and doing whatever you like, life is for the living. Xx

At least you have your own ovens you can cook with occasionally for the time being Chookie, any good cook would get frustrated with sub-standard appliances but I imagine they are fine for DD who wouldn’t have the time to do much baking. Keep chipping away at your packing and you will get there. I hope Ral is at least stable at the moment.
I hope you're able to get to your dental appointment K Atie, it might be a bit difficult if you are not well though.
I got up at 6.40 this morning to make SIL some Woman’s Weekly individual sago puddings, I always used to make them for him for Christmas before they went to Melbourne to live so it has been a long time since I’ve done so. Harder than I though and they take so long too, currently being steamed for 3 hours and hopefully they will turn out OK. I don’t have much confidence in my cooking these days.

I’ve made Thermobexta’s Veggie Lasagne and some pumpkin soup for the kids who will be over from Melbourne next week. Great reviews on the lasagne so I hope meat loving SIL will enjoy it too. https://www.thermobexta.com.au/thermobextas-very-vege-lasagne/. Topping is no where near as dark as it looks in the photo.

I agree that classes are very helpful cookie, especially when technology of these machines has become so advanced compared to our TM31’s.

Chookie, if my posting put a smile on your face and brightened your day I am so pleased about that. Little things can do that during tough times which seem as though they’re never going to end. Thank you so much for this update, I hold my breath waiting for them to appear so that I can share them with all those you know personally, our forumfesters. I agree with you in that what Ral wants, Ral can have as this treatment must be so hard for him. What a great team you have around you so that progress on the house sale can proceed, it certainly is something you couldn’t do on your own. I’d love to wrap my arms around both of you but a virtual hug it will have to be. Xx

Lovely cookie, I guess it won’t be the last time you make sour dough rolls.

Massages are not always enjoyable or discomfort/pain free, unfortunately. My two favourite massages are a good foot massage and a nice long head massage at the hair dressers.
Oh yes I second that, especially the head massage. Poor puss K Atie, I’m glad you acted quickly to take her back and I hope the vet didn’t charge you.
