I bought a packet of Lamb Shanks in Red Wine Sauce to have with mixed roast vegetables and broccoini for the men. I pureed an egg omelette for myself.

We had a Beef, Mustard, Honey and Mushroom casserole. There is enough left over to make a pie some time.

I don’t often buy sausages. I bought a small tray of lamb sausages from Wilson’s. They are from Bouchier ( spelling?) I recently saw a tv program where they represented Australia in an international cooking competition. I think they won. I’ll grill some to have with mashed potatoes , gravy and veggies.

Yesterday I made 4 small, 1 serve chicken dishes. Mushroom and chicken, Italian, Chinese and KFC. I ate the KFC for lunch. I used SD discard and Panko crumbs to coat the chicken. I’ll have one tonight.

We had RTE meat pies. I had some of the filling in the freezer so made some pastry and we had them with veggies.

I had pumpkin soup made by my German neighbour, it was very different from any recipe I’ve tried. Enough for 3 meals so a nice treat for me.
