Oh inaid you'll love Frozen it's wonderful and Lily watches it everyday, she's even decided at the age of 4 that her wedding dress will be just like the one Elsa is wearing in her ice castle :D

BZB about 42 years ago I cooked some fish and DH said I did it wrong, hence he cooks all the fish now. ( fresh fish anyway). He just coated it with flour and cooked it in a drop of oil at a fairly high temperature.

It's pizza for us tonight. I did the dough while watching my footy team in an exciting finish, they lost. I'm sure Gert could hear me yelling in Cairns.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Mum used to cook it like that most times cookie but as she worked in a fish and chip shop, fish and chips were her specialty.  Dad built a boat and Mum was just the best at filleting and cooking the fish. I love fish that has just been floured and fried.

DH cooks all the fresh fish in our house too cookie.  He lightly coats it in rice flour.
Roast chicken tonight. Basic meals lately. Hamburgers last night, schnitzels and sausages the nights before.

That's a brilliant idea, Cookie. Get something wrong and they take over 😝 Unfortunately it hasn't worked on my DH. I've gotten so many things wrong but he won't step into the kitchen 😁😆

Autumn rain outside. But we're all warm and cosy after our steamboat dinner 😊 Bought some wagyu beef, fish cakes and yellow noodles. Marinated chicken thigh in soya sauce, dark soya sauce, oyster sauce and white pepper. Made stock from 6 chicken frames, and we were all set 😄

Judy, I put the steamboat pot in the centre. Brought the stock to a boil, and added a bit of everything into the stock except for noodles. The beef cooked very fast so DH and I hung on to the beef with tongs. As soon as they were cooked, we dished out for the boys.

The main idea is communal eating. Everyone scoops out food into their bowls. We finish off with noodles with the delicious soup at the end. Chillies on the side for those who want some heat.

Very fun, and comforting 😃

It sounds like a lovely family thing to do BZB but I could imagine the mess my family would make of it LOL.

Suzanne we loved it. Lily who is 2.5 would get up every time a song started and dance around lol :D E enjoyed it. We really should use our media room more often. DH and I watched the Wolf of wall Street once the kids had gone to bed. Enjoyed it.

DHs favourite meal, roasted lamb shanks, veges and a Jamie Oliver style gravy which is mostly veges as well, yum.
