Slow Cooker leg of lamb with veges. Leftover Caramel Apple Pudding for dessert.

All the children will be over for family dinner tonight.
Corned beef done in slow cooker with veggies and white sauce.
Haven't decided on a dessert yet.

Thanks Hally.
We have quite a brood when they all get together. It's great that my children and DH's children get on so well.
My DS 22yrs loves playing big brother to his 2 stepsisters.

You have your own Brady bunch then Michele - how wonderful that the kids all get on well, it can be rare in second marriages.

DS is coming home for a birthday dinner today so we will be having his favourite, roast beef with roast veg peas and gravy.  Home made blackberry pie for dessert.  We picked the berries earlier this year and froze them.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

When we get home tonight I plan on making fillet steaks with roast veg, maybe a mushroom sauce to go with.  :)

Been cooking all day so whipped up a quick dinner with sausages, pasta bake and vegetable frittas followed by golden syrup dumplings.
Will be interesting to see how the dumplings go as I never liked them when I was young and have never tried them since.

Well Judy you were right. They are not too bad at all. I did enjoy them and so did the kids. Not sure I would make them often but they were nice. :)

Aww Amy, thank you but no photos tonight, only because it was dark by the time we sat down to eat and I haven't got my lights set up yet for the winter months.

Loved every mouthful though, like I said we had fillet steaks that I could practically cut with a butter knife they were that tender, roast potatoes, pumpkin and carrot, asparagus and finished off with a lovely mushroom sauce.  I brought home a tiger loaf from Brumby's which was very nice too.  So good to be home.  :D
