Spent the day at GFs making heaps for a Market on Sunday ! Double batch of Onion jam , zucchini relish ( that was prepared night before ) , kusundi Indian sauce that goes with everything ( finishing off this morning) We prepped tomatoes and onions to make tomato relish the next day . Than an apricot slice . We do it all on the stove in huge pots , one at a time as jarring up has its challenges if two ready at once . There is a slight chance that it maybe canceled so pausing this morning.

Today we finished off the kasundi . Made the tomato relish . Then a ginger crunch slice and Donna Hays caramel slice also DGF had made a chocolate fudge. Apricot slice was made yesterday. Then we proceeded to package up slices cut into four . DGF labeled all the products- it was a massive day ! And yes due to the very bad weather it has been cancelled But the hospital store is going ahead so anyone missed out on realising it’s cancelled can still get a lot of products.  Same amount of work , bring on Sunday and I’m going to say that has been a huge few days . Home dinner ready and early to bed for me . Bet you it doesn’t rain and no storm tomorrow!!

It’s goal to stew pears each day to go in the freezer ( now that I have some containers) There is nothing like a home grown pear from the fridge on a hot day though .
