I hope the doctor visits and blood tests are good Chookie.
Yes Marina, we used to spend a lot of wonderful times up at Monkey Mia. It’s now memories as we sold the boat and several of the friends we went with aren’t well. At least we have the memories.
Last night we stayed in Kojonup, a little wheatbelt town at the free camp. It cost us $5. Lovely. Lots of birds and beautiful trees. Tonight we are in Albany. It’s cost us $85 for a powered caravan park site. We were rather shocked. Tomorrow we move on to Katanning or similar where we will camp cheaply and help boost the little country town.

Cookie lots of the young have been or are working in Kojonup a great wheat belt area . Enjoy . Today was yoga , then to shops to get car filled up with diesel and do a shop ! Picked up DH after dropping off ute for service! I had a virtually empty tank! Talk was SA service stations had run out . And a very large town in northern Victoria had no diesel . Great … hot day DH spent the morning road side burning for Firebrigade ! Also could not get emails all day apparently they are doing massive repairs and it will be all week . But you will be able to get internet at night !! Unreal .

Back to collect the Ute / car ! Might have sneaked a clothes shop in . DGF and I did another cook up for ourselves. Kusundi and a double batch of tomato relish . Took most of the day as we do it on the stove . This morning I’m cleaning the split air cons /heaters ! They were dusty. This is a reminder for everyone to do this regularly- mainly the units work so much better. The fact I was up a ladder on my own is not the greatest idea . I did get up early hoping that DH was around !

Kojonup is certainly a wheat area KAtie. We stopped the next night in Katanning. It’s also wheat but is a much larger town. We topped up with diesel there. $2.50 a litre. We thought that was good the way things are. Quite a few places in Albany were out.
We arrived home mid afternoon yesterday. Got the washing done and things unpacked.
This morning off to buy some groceries.

Just housework, gardening and cooking for me with a 2 hour break with my visitor, the story of my life and it’s just getting busier and busier.

DS and DIL are coming for dinner tonight so I did a quick trip to the supermarket for supplies. DIL has been working in Tasmania for several weeks and DS has been staying on a farm in his caravan. They will be heading back to Qeensland in the next few days.

DS and DIL called in this morning on their way back to Queensland. They decided to head back a couple of days earlier than planned. We are going to miss them.

DH was selling a heap of things from our elderly friends house today. Talk about a mad house. I was the contact on line for marketplace. It was non stop for about 3 hours.
Hopefully never again. He had too much advertised in one ac.

Well we have been busy . Easter was nice all together, a few laughs as DS DS had an egg hunt . Nice food - a few oysters and prawns also the greatest Ling for dinner . We have all been cleaning the shearing shed for days . A touch of rain that was nice . Some very autumn days with amazing sunrises and sunsets . Daylight savings stil plays tricks , when you haven’t changed the car time !! The uncertainty of fuel , wearing thin on all of us . Wishing my headache away is not working today .

We’ve had very good rain here in S.A. which I love for our gardens. In between heavy rain I managed to do quite a few hours in the garden weeding and cutting back.

I waited for a friend this morning. She texted about half an hour after she was due to arrive to say she had a doctor’s appointment.

I've had a hectic week - MRI on knee (not great), wonderful Easter Saturday with Chookie (when I finally managed to find her place ... does anyone know of a decent satnav app??), Colonoscopy yesterday, Bone densitometry today. Yesterday we had a landscaper in sorting out our top deck, at the moment it looks pretty sad, but once the plants have settled in, had a year's growth and adapted to apartment life they will look really good. Next week two of my cousins are flying in from Scotland (one of whom has the broadest accent you could wish for - I will just be getting used to it when they leave!), but I will be exhausted by then.
