Mum is very docile today, dozing mostly for the 2 hours Iíve been here so far.
Denise, so happy to hear you are booking in the fixtures for your new build.
Good to hear that one of you is improving Chookie and that Ral begins to improve asap too.
Katie, donít worry about food - rest up and get better. Most men can toast bread and cook eggs.
A fridge that is all fridge sounds great Julie, do you have a chest freezer or one with shelves/drawers?  Itís so easy to fill it then wish we hadnít so that we can make some different recipes. Iím always in that boat but Iím working on mine by taking out 2 meals a day at the moment.

Very windy here today , showers yet still humid .

Judy, I have 2 upright freezers as well as the one attached to my current fridge which I will keep when the new one arrives. The smaller of the freezers is used mainly for putting DH's meals in for work and odds and sods.  The bigger one is for everything else, I just need to be more organised with it.  Looking forward to getting back to cooking again, but I'm also enjoying the break.  :)

More rest today . DH passed on the kids cubby house to a workers sisters kids ... ended up we know then well. So removal was using a front end loader onto our tandem trailer . A little sad to see it go but pleased that little ones will have so much fun in it . It even has a veranda ! I managed to cook some Skinnymixers lunch box quiches and eat one . Back resting. Finerly DH is off to GP to see what is wrong with his foot tomorrow . A few hydra lite icy poles seem to be helping me too.

K Atie glad you seem to be on the mend.  We are also slowly improving. I was able to do quite a lot of cooking.  The scones in the mini pie maker were a great success.
Rals blood test showed his platelets are normal.  We canít believe it.

FANTASTIC NEWS for you both Chookie. I'm so pleased for you. Good platelets.

Our Costco opens here next month, so this morning DD and I went over and bought our membership. It's near the airport so it doesn't take us long to get there.

That would be a household card wouldnít it cookie, not both having to pay the membership fee?  Good to hear it isnít far from you, mine is about a 30 minute drive away which is OK.

Nice to hear all those feeling unwell are slowly improving.  Good news re Ralís platelets too.

The children will love the cubby house K Atie, a lovely thing to pass on for their enjoyment now that you no longer need it.

Cookie, you will really enjoy Costco.  I have only been once, as a guest of DIL.   DS works near Melbourne store and often pops in on way home. He gets me a large packet of Panko crumbs.
Must fill biscuit bin today.

Costco is on my one day list , I have no storage room for large things so I have refrained yet so tempted. Think my plan today will be push through and go for a walk as still feel unwell . DH is in Melbourne seeing about his foot . Had no energy to go I do feel bad but he will be ok , just the driving will not help his foot .
Chookie jumping for joy for Rals results fantastic news .

Ral's results are wonderful, you must both be over the moon!

We're due to go onto the NBN today, so I am at work early awaiting the havoc that I am sure will ensue - I have already booked my IT tech to come in tomorrow morning to sort it all out and our security people came in yesterday to convert us to their new system.  Hopefully all will go relatively smoothly.

Chookie, good news about Ral's platelets.

Spent yesterday afternoon cleaning out my saucepan and baking cupboards and washing the shelves.  Not quite done yet will finish them off today.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Great news regarding DH's platelets Chookie, must be a weight off your mind.  :D

Cuilidih, hopefully the change over won't be as bad as you are expecting, hope so.  :D

Very cold walk this morning even wearing a heavier hoodie.  Not many people about either, was quite windy.  :)

Would love to have a walk around Costco.  The closest we will get here is Aldi who are supposedly building here soon.  ;D

Marina, with all that support it should go well.  We had no trouble as DS took control. Our only complaint is that when they are working on the network, we can be without it for a few hours.  This happens about 4 times a year.
About to bottle 5 k of apples.  Had to buy them this year as we didnít get any from our trees.
