Sorry to hear you were in hospital Katie, hope you have a swift recovery.
Day off today, it's 8pm and I can finally put my feet up! Tradies came over at 8am to fix roof, school dropoff, essential trip to the wine shop (it is the festive season after all), quick coffee with friends, Xmas shopping, grocery shopping, home to wrap presents, pick up kids & take them to dentist, home again for 1/2 hour then off to their music concert, home to wrap more pressies and unpack shopping, made dinner, dishes, put bins out and now ready for a glass of as Gert says!
Almost forgot the 2 loads of washing.... you can see why I don't get on here much 😛
Back to work tomorrow, counting down until Xmas eve when I'm holidays for 2 weeks yay!

DD I'm sorry about your dog. It's a hard decision to make.

Good news Astarra, you must be proud and your girls will be surprised when they receive their awards.

It's nice to hear from you Deedub, you've certainly been busy.

Thanks everyone for your well wishes. I'm home now and have had a sleep and something to eat. Richard is looking after me. The surgery went well, although she had to make a larger incision in my tummy to remove the growth than she was planning. My tummy is very sore and it hurts to move. The growth was a tumour, but she doesn't think it was anything nasty (but it's been set to pathology). She wasn't able to do one of the procedures she was planning as she found other issues. I have to see her again after Xmas when she wants to discuss whether I'll should have a hysterectomy next year (and the way I feel now, she can stick that!).

Glad you are home Katie. Mixed news but don't concern yourself with that just yet. Concentrate on resting and letting Richard spoil you. The rest will happen in the fullness of time.

Take care Katie. Rest up and do as you need to do. I'm positive Richard is a super carer.

Good to hear your update Katie, sorry it was so mixed. Just take it really easy... Not easy to do I know especially when the pain eases, which it will soon

Been to post a parcel, few miles away to post office, and buy eggs, and made lunch.
