Nice Robyn, do you have undercover parking for all your cars?

Very nice Robyn. It must cost a fortune having the cars done for you. :-\

DD I can imagine how beautiful your house must be. Enjoy your time 'in the heat.'

Great to hear you managed to stay in the saddle Nikkit. Definitely not too old if you and Spotty Horse still enjoy yourselves.

CP we do get a great deal of pleasure from our old cars. Lots of extra friends too.

This morning I did some ironing and fiddle faddled around for the rest of the morning. I did a sneaky mail order from Haighs too. Hopefully I am the one home when it comes. I plan to do some bread this afternoon. My problem is I have a good book going that I need to finish for book club tomorrow night. ;)

Robyn, the car looks really good. I wouldn't mind being taken to my wedding in it.  :D

.......the bride?  Who will drive the car Robyn?  I can understand your excitement. Do you have to get special permission to use the old car?  We did, but maybe because it was classed as a vintage car.

I truly love Melbourne but it is really trying my patience at the moment. I'm running in the Susan 10km women's fun run for cancer this morning and have been looking forward to it for ages. It's been raining all night and is still raining heavily at 5.30am as I'm getting ready to go  :'( I even booked a hotel room in St Kilda and took the day off work tomorrow  thinking the weather would be lovely and we could spend a day looking at the St Kilda and Sth Melbourne markets and some time at the beach. I'll now be very wet and cold and be wanting to come home for a hot shower.  Hopefully the day will get better as it unfolds.

I have had a lovely day out at Windsor (north west of Sydney). Put a couple of pics here. The markets were wonderful but I can't post pics of what I bought as they are pressies for people who may see  :-X  Was a beautiful summer day until I got home and the storm hit. Lightning, thunder and pouring rain.

With all this rain we have been having lately I have four all terrain, very clean, chookies  :D They are obviously fine with it all as I still get 4 eggs a day.

The chooks are gorgeous. Wonder I hope the day improved for you.

We had our Christmas do for the car club today. Quite a nice lunch. One of the hilarious guys conned me into singing the national anthem with him, lucky a couple more joined in. I think only ex teachers knew the words.  :D :D. I was standing up waiting for DH to return from the food table and he thought I was standing for he and I to sing.  ;D ;D ;D I have the worst singing voice in Australia. It was funny though.

I was also given a lovely arrangement of red roses as a thank you for the rally work.
