The Crofton pots can’t be compared to the French cast iron ones. I have both. The Crofton are light, aluminium I think. However, they are excellent for cooking bread in. If you want to heat the pot in the oven, prior to baking, then the cast iron are better as they hold the heat. The Crofton ones are best lined, especially the base as they can burn at high temperature. Still a good buy at the prices at both Aldi and Coles. Julie, thanks for posting the link.
