Mornong all,

Been flat out with friend from the UK. We have been friends since teenagers and so lovely to have a visit. It all went too quickly.

Off to take dog out for a walk now, will try and post more regularly:)

Frank wants to make a fruitcake for xmas day which recipe is easy for a non cook to make. i have never made one, i am not a fan of anything with fruit in it, he has been on google tonight 1 recipes said to bake for 3 1/2 hour the words that come out of his mouth i couldn't  repeat here lol  ;D

What about a boiled fruitcake uni? It doesn't cook much longer than a normal cake as you simmer the fruit and goey bits before mixing up the rest of the cake.

It's an old sunbeam recipe that I've converted, but not posted on here yet (bit lazy with posts lately).  It's an easy no fuss recipe that looks pretty if you decorate the top with almonds. Recipe is in the photo.
