Hello all, bit busy to be on here much, thinking of everyone and glad everyone is safe.
We are consumed by bad weather in UK, the flooded farmers are a terrible situation. Farmers all pulling together.
I have already measured 127mm rain to yesterday for this month alone. We are stuck in a wet and stormy weather system that has no end.
On the house front, lots of painting and woodstaining. Flooring is the next big job and we are really making progress now.
Sheep inside and much happier. Garden abandoned until it dries a bit, roll on summer!

What a miserable time you are having. I am so happy for the sheep though.

We have had 304 mm of rain in the first 12 days of Feb . Almost 24/7 driving me nuts and our dog is really depressed. I cooked him some fish for dinner just to perk him up a bit.

Sounds like you have achieved a lot recently DJ. Spring will soon be there. Forget about the garden for now anyway. Nothing you can do about it .

Send some rain down to Victoria to out these rotten fires out, I've had some friends and family who have had very close calls, thank you to all the fire fighters out there.

South Australia has rain for the next couple of days, real rain - I can't believe it and won't until I see it for myself.  Perhaps it is heading your way AB too.  It's just what they need up north in our State where they've been fighting a fire for a month.

How lovely Judy. You will be able to go out and dance in it.

It's been raining steady, quite hard at times here since around 5.30am.  So good to hear and see it even if I couldn't go on my usual walk this morning.  ;D

Morning all. We are still waiting for the rain.  Hope we get some this morning. Fires less of a threat around here now but still not all out.
