Lol Uni, I do love animals of most kinds, but I don't like noisy ones that you can't ignore and have to deal with straight away so as not to disturb the neighbors :(

Is your doggie ok?

I am up as I heard a rat. Now I am watching the thing scurrying aroun the patio. We get a few during the cane cutting season.

Morning Gert, Yes, Bonnie appears okay now, she has been for her walk and seems alright.  Will keep an eye on her though . I'm afraid I can't stand rats, I hope your disappears soon.

Ah Dede that's not nice. What about their cute noses?   I'll have to get the trap out.

Marie have you made butter in you HMP?  Ask and someone might sell you an EDC  here.

Morning dede
It use to be my job on the farm  to feed the pet lambs before I went to school. Gosh, that was a long time ago

Marie   :)

Do you want them Emme? ;D

No room Dede, I can remember very well the first time I found out where the pet lambs ended up, I came  home from school and found them in the truck ready to leave .  I had thought they went back to the paddock.    I would not eat lamb for weeks after that incase it was one of my pets.  Of course, it was just the way things were on the farm, had to make a living.

Marie   ;D

Have not made butter yet Gert but have some cream in the fridge so may give that ago today.  Yes, if anyone has a EDC book they no longer want, I would be interested.

Well we have had another disaster. Today DD had accident at work, had to rescued by mum and s/dad with suspected #ankle.
4 hrs in casualty later pronounced bad ligament sprain.
Oh bother.

Due to start her new proper graduate job and leave home in 2 weeks, currently no driving and no walking!
DH now painting other house on his own from tmro. We bought the paint his afternoon left DD on sofa, but I will now stay home with DD and continue packing and sorting. Hopefully in a few days she will manage better.

Size of swelling tonight HUGE, hope radiologist has their glasses on when they double check the X-ray. From the look of it and the pain I still suspect a #.  Whichever way it won't be quick.

Hospital said absolutley no crutches. Consulted with senior a and e sister( lifelong friend ) on return home and she agreed weight bearing with crutches safer to begin with to prevent another accident and will encourage better use of leg. She has absolutley no flexion at all. Luckily our crutches had not been moved to new house yet.

Painkillers and arnica and rhus tox at regular intervals.

What next?

Oh no DJ your poor DD, sometime the swelling can hide a fracture. If no improvement in a couple of days I would take her back to the doctor for another X-ray. But ligament damage can be just as bad as a break. Hope all is ok
