I made a boiled fruit cake today.

Home made hamburgers with the lot.

Nothing tonight as we were out for lunch.

Fresh flathead tonight with smashed potatoes, asparagus, sweet potato and a tomato sauce. 

Apple sponge for dessert for the men.

Yesterday a friend called in for afternoon tea. I had no cake or biscuits and nothing in the freezer so I did a plate of crackers, cheese and quince paste and small tomatoes. They were nice for a change.

Today I have been invited to an afternoon playing Hoy.  I'd never heard of it before but apparently it's a bit like bingo so this might be fun.
