Nice baking everyone.  I have only made a small potato bake in the AF today.

Marina how awful to get scammed like that.  So pleased that you didn't lose a lot of money.

I shopping today and bought some shoes and slippers for my self, a pair of new towels and a bathmat, a pair of winter sheets, 2 casual jackets and some track pants for DH.

My silver lining today is that the Telstra people came this morning and fixed my internet problems.   The pits for the telephone line were all full of water and some of the cables needed new fittings.  Keeping my fingers crossed that they have got it right this time.

We have had a new KMart and Bunnings stores open here in the last few weeks so I decided to have a look.  KMart shelves were mostly empty and look like being that way for a few weeks yet.  Bunnings is so much bigger than the little store we had before.

A lovely photo Chookie.

Chookie, I like your new labels.

Chow mein is a popular meal here.  When the children were young they called it green meat.  It took me a long time to work out what they wanted the first time they requested green meat.

Julie, those baguettes look good.

Jacket potatoes here tonight with coleslaw.

A quick trip to the green grocer this morning.  I only had 1 potato left and DH has requested a baked potato for his dinner.

My silver lining for the day was that the NBN man came to fix my internet problem.  Down side is that it isn't fixed.  I've reported it again.

Mab, that is awful about  your internet .  Can you ring a supervisor and say you have a sick DH and need the phone in he has an emergency.

Chookie, my service provider is aware that DH is not well.  It's very frustrating trying to do anything or contact anyone.

Left overs here tonight.

Chookie, your little loaves and rolls look good.

Cookie, your cake looks good too.  Banana cakes are one of the few cakes that are not popular at our place.

Julie, both your Minestrone Soup and cake look good.  I might make some soup this afternoon as DD is coming tomorrow and we can have it for lunch.

I made another Date Loaf yesterday morning so that I would have something to give to the NBN people with a cuppa.  Now that they are not coming we will have to eat it ourselves.

It's nice to be able to mix again with friends and family.  Being isolated didn't worry me very much as I don't go out much anyway but being able to have a friend visit is nice.

Marina, I'm look forward to your silver lining posts.

A lovely sunny day here although still rather cool.

Thank you everyone for your kind thoughts.   The hospital made no comment on how the MRI went so we now have to wait until we talk to the doctor.

I had a message from the NBN this morning to say that they have cancelled today's visit and will let me know when they set another date.  To say I am angry is putting it mildly.  I don't know how they expect me to use the internet when it keeps on dropping in and out all day long.  It's rarely on long enough to get anything done as well as dropping out in the middle of a phone conversation.

Good morning everyone.  A cool morning here, cloudy one moment sunny the next.

I haven't contributed much lately but do manage to check in every now and then.

Thanks to everyone for the group hugs, I really need them at the moment.   I joined the forum in 2009 with no consultant and no idea how to use my TM31.  Everyone here was so helpful and friendly with answers to my questions.  I like the look of the TM6 but would never part with my 31.

I'm having a lot of computer problems lately with lots of drop outs so the NBN are coming on Friday to see if they can fix the problem.  My house phone is also connected to the internet which with hindsight was maybe not such a good idea.  No internet, no phone.

We have an appointment at another hospital today for DH to have a MRI as the doctors found a small anurism (?) when he was in our local hospital recently.  DS has offered to take us as appointment is for late afternoon and could be getting dark when we come out.  My eyesight is not good enough now for night driving.

Michelle, congratulations on the purchase of you TM6 and the sale of you TM5.

Thank you everyone for your support.

Chookie, good to hear that Ral's platelets are improving.

I'm going to have my hair cut today.  I am trying a new hairdresser in the hopes that she will do a better job than the others.
