Marina I don't think I would like to try the meals you described yuk.  I don't understand why I am not putting on any weight as I am eating well and having lots of milk cheese and yogurt etc.  I guess it will just take time.

I had a visit to the Dietician today.  Most of the things he discussed I already knew and was doing anyway so I didn't learn a great deal from the visit.  He did suggest that I try to put on a little bit more weight as I am 2kg lighter that when I came out of hospital.

Judy, the pureed french toast sounds interesting is the recipe on the forum.

Tonight the men are having crumbed chicken with cocktail potatoes in butter and mint, and creamed silverbeet.  I made myself some crab cakes using tinned crab and I will have the same vegetables.

Roast lamb with all the trimmings yesterday to celebrate DS and GS birthdays.  I pureed my meat with lots of gravy and mashed my veg and I enjoyed every bit of it.

Tonight will be left overs for the men, I will have soup.

Marina and Cookie enjoy your trips away.

Marina and Chookie thank you both for your suggestions for vertigo.

Yesterday DD took me to Monash in Clayton to meet with the head of the gastroenterology department to review the report from my visit to the hospitals.  I knew there was nothing more they can do for me  as there is no cure for this.    If and when this happens again and I'm sure it will as this is the 2nd time it has happened I will need to go to the hospital in Clayton where I will be back being fed through a nasal tube and another oesophagal dilation.  In the meantime I just carry on as normal with soft or pureed foods.  After the appointment we went to our favourite restaurant, I knew I would not be able to eat there so brought home two takeaway meals and put them into the TMX.  They looked a bit weird on the plate but tasted lovely.

Not much happening here, just the bare minimum.  I've not got much energy at the moment and I've had vertigo for a few days so I'm just feeling a bit low but I guess that will pass as I get a bit stronger.  I'm eating lots of protein and veggies and Sustagen but not putting on any weight unfortunately.

Marina, I am glad that everything is going well for you.  My DH did a good job while I was away too  fortunately the freezer had plenty of casseroles etc so he only had to do vegetables.

I had my flu shot today and Cookie I'm sorry to hear that you had such a bad reaction to your flu shot I hope I don't have the same reaction as you had.
