Thank you all again for your kind thoughts.
This afternoon when I was putting the salad for tonight in the fridge I dropped the lot on the floor. Salad and broken glass everywhere oh what a mess. I had to make another salad and was very careful putting this one away.

Marinated salmon with chips and salad. I'll just have the salmon and a small serve of salad.

I watched Jamie Oliver make a Cauliflower Cheese Sauce for Spaghetti today. It looked like something I could eat so decided to give it a try but without the spaghetti. It turned out well and will be nice on mashed vegetables or baked potato.

DS came home from hospital late yesterday so we went out to see him today. His operation took 4 hours and he has cut through two muscles, numerous nerves and tendons as well as cutting the bone in two places. He is not allowed to walk or use his leg for two week and will then spend 3 months in a moon boot. After all that he will need several months of rehabilitation. Being a typical male he is already fed up about be unable to move. We are just pleased that he still has his leg.

Thank you everyone for your good wishes for our DS. His operation was postponed until today and he didn't go into theatre until 4.00pm this afternoon. We won't know any details until he is back in the ward and we don't expect that to be until about 8.00pm tonight.

Our eldest DS was taken to the Dandenong hospital yesterday after having a serious accident with a chainsaw. He was helping family members cut firewood when a branch fell and pushed the saw into the lower part of his leg in two places. The nerves, ligaments & tendons have been cut and he is being operated on this afternoon. DIL said she could see the bone but couldn't tell if it had been damaged. He will be out of action for several months and he was due to start a new job tomorrow so that won't be happening now.

Cookie, I am sorry to hear about your little Budgie, it is so sad when we have to have our pets put to sleep.

That sounds interesting Margaret. I usually use Jamberie’s Fluffy pizza dough recipe from here and don’t give it a rise. I roll it out and let it rise on the pizza trays. https://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=12717.msg268239#msg268239
I've never made that recipe Cookie, I like that you don't let it rise first. I'll give that a try next time. DH like the recipe I used but DS thought it wasn't as good as my usual one. I couldn't eat it so I can't pass an opinion. Tonight it is meatballs in a sauce with mustard pickles in it. Mashed potato & Broccoli, cauli, carrots. I'm not sure what I will have.
