cookie, judy says you're not sure how to sticky a topic - scroll all the way to the bottom of the thread and you'll see a box 'sticky' on the left - click ;)

i will do this one!

Thanks a lot Karen  :-* :-* - I've had notification that it has been made a sticky - why isn't there a pin in it like other stickies?

I admit, I love my kitchen. If I could afford to improve it, I would probably add one of those "mess kitchens" behind  :D plus a coolroom.

Wow!! 11 pages of reading!! I finally got to this - won't let threads get that long before reading again. But what a good read! Love hearing about you all and seeing your stunning kitchens - loved it all.

My name is along the lines of dede, obbie and faffa's - from childhood my baby sisters could not say 'Renee' and it stuck as a name just my sisters (4 sisters - no brothers) and sometimes my mum calls me. (and now my nieces and nephews.)

nazar's story of their 'dog' hit a nerve with me personally as our beloved first pet (baby) 'Jess' turned 15 at the beginning of the year and passed away a couple months ago - she was a good working cattle/border collie and was older than our 2 kids.

Also denzelmum - thank you for sharing your story - my heart breaks for you.  :-* :-* When I first joined the forum I loved the anonymity of no one knowing 'my story' but seeing we are all such good friends now - I could change my profile  ??? I think some of you have 'seen' me on the 'Official' Thermomix Forum anyway.- Thanks andie for your special photo.  :-* :-*

Thanks Karen. I didn't know it was a 'sticky' if you wanted to put it up the top. A BIG THANK YOU.

Eventually, my kitchen. I spent ages trying to find the best angle to photograph it from. I love my island bench and my pantry. As you can see we have a blue house.

'Noice' Cookie! I love that I have spotted tissue boxes in a couple kitchens. A 'friend' made me feel like dill for keeping mine there and it's nice to know I'm not just as wacky as she made me feel. I mean it's just the right spot if you always have hayfever and you are always in the kitchen. :D

I have tissue boxes everywhere, kitchen, bedside, desk, powder room, car - your friend would have a fit.
