Tonight I’m attempting to make seared steak and rocket salad ! But no rocket so adding mushrooms and incorporating julienne broccolini red pepper carrot avocado and coriander . I might just to the Hight temp again with the extra veg after the beef is cooked …?

We had planned th have crumbed chicken and veggies. However when DD got off the bus after work, she saw a family cowering at their front door.  She looked over and there was a galah there and they were terrified of it. She asked if she could help and picked up the bird. They wanted it no where near them. She brought it home and after lots of phone calls and local Facebook intereaction we were able to return it to its owner. The kids were thrilled to bits.
Hence we had soup from the freezer and cheesies.

Well done Cookie and DD.
Second helping of roast pork. Will make a toastie with lots of Apple sauce.
I did make a casserole from kangaroo. I used the TMX recipe for beef in stout , with modifications. It will go to DD who is coming home from Thursday Island where she has just set up a tooth cleaning program for the children. She will be feeling the Ballarat cold.

Pumpkin risotto. Using the remaining pumpkin soup watered down as the liquid. Served , topped with roasted pumpkin.

Last night we had crumbed chicken with mixed vegetables.  Tonight it will be pizza.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.
