I read somewhere that chicken and Sundried tomatoes were a nice filling for a quiche. I’m trying it tonight.

Dessert was one Bomberry , frozen raspberry with white chocolate then dark chocolate) and a coconut Mochie each . Could live off mochies .

I’m inspired by all the roast lamb recipes. Last week I cooked 1/2 a leg in the SC and finished it in the Ninja. It was probably the best I’ve cooked. I added a little water and lots of fresh herbs to the pot. Sat the lamb on two crumpet rings. The herbs flavoured the gravy.

Last night we had marinated salmon with potato mash, asparagus & baby carrots. I had the same but pureed mine.
Eye fillet steak for the men with roast potatoes, roast pumpkin, beans and salad. Chicken soup for me.

We’re having Beef in Black Bean sauce and rice. It will be based on RTE recipe but I couldn’t buy her black beans anywhere. I think a lot of people are trying it.

DD birthday lunch. Roast lamb with all the trimmings. Cauli Cheese for vegetarians plus lots of other veggies. Baked Bramley apples and Portuguese Tarts. All will probably stay for dinner so I made Cream of celery soup, garlic bread and a fruit and cheese platter.

Happy Birthday to your DD. Chookie. We’re having a meat pie from the freezer with veggies.

Thanks Cookie.
The family and friends at DD lunch, voted my Portuguese Tarts my best recipe. I disagreed and said the Hot X Buns. But, they said, we only get them at Easter.
Soup tonight.
