The young people loved the Beef in Stout. What an easy meal. Takes 1 1/2 hours to cook. Also made No Fuss Baguettes into garlic bread.
Made Brownies, served with Ice cream.
Tonight I’m having Salmon and fried rice. Steamed vegg.

Soup, veggie and chicken. It has a funny texture. As the TMX was busy making Quince Paste, I cooked the veggies in a saucepan and used the Bamix to mix it. Make one really appreciate the TMX.

Our friend who has been keeping us 'topped up' with delicious soups for the past few weeks came in with the most delicious corn chowder on Friday - we managed to stretch it out over a couple of nights, but finished it off last night.  DH is anxious for me to be up on my feet again so I can make it myself - that's not going to happen for several more weeks yet, unfortunately.

Roast lamb with all the trimmings yesterday to celebrate DS and GS birthdays.  I pureed my meat with lots of gravy and mashed my veg and I enjoyed every bit of it.

Tonight will be left overs for the men, I will have soup.

Your post just reminded me of my favourite winter mashed vege mix - potatoes, carrots and swede - I am going to have to wait a while before I have that again, unfortunately.
