It’s seriously too funny as I know the power points are good as in wherever we have had an election ,first thing is to check the microwave power point . But so many people say they have had them for just as long as you with no problems. My girlfriend goes through kettles the same .

Katie, some dishes can’t be put in the microwave. As I don’t cook or reheat anything in plastic I have to test which dishes I can’t use. My lovely soup cups I can’t use in microwave so have to heat them with boiling water from kettle and heat the soup in Pyrex, then tip in. Any earthenware is not suitable. I think it is the iron in the pottery that overheats.

KAtie, can’t imagine what causes the problem. I’ve been using microwaves for 60 years and other than a small fire from paper in the microwave, have never had a problem.
Chicken some way. Possibly chicken and mushroom pie for one.

I wasn’t hungry but I made oat and apple pancakes, they were delicious and I was surprised that I was able to eat them. I served them with maple syrup and cream and I’ll try some savoury ones another time.

Well done Judy. I love stuffed pancakes when not very hungry.
I bought 5 large prawns and made a prawn and cold slaw roll for lunch.
Last night, DD and GS brought fish and chips around and we ate it straight from the paper.
