Looks nice cookie, I could eat that without the chicken.

Sorry to hear that the sauce didn't work out for you Judy, despite your experiments. Was the taste too strong, not strong enough or just not interesting? It sounds like you are still finding quite a few things that you used to enjoy but can no longer tolerate. Such a long-term learning curve for you.

Marina there’s probably nothing wrong with the recipe, I can tolerate different foods at different times so never know how anything is going to taste anymore. The original was flavourless and my additions just made it taste horrible and it shouldn’t have. The fact that I’m rarely feeling hungry doesn’t help, who wants to eat when they’re not hungry. I just have to live with this, it’s hardly likely to change after 2.5 years and thank goodness I enjoy my Sustagen smoothies and many desserts are nice too. I only have 2 meals a day now but I’ve got to the stage where my fitness level seems to be back to pre-op days so I really don’t have anything to complain about. I do like Asian flavours so Chookie’s suggestion is next on my list when I feel like having another go at something different.
