After a substantial lunch we decided to have nibbles for dinner .  I bought some low fat cheese . Awful.  Will grind it in the TMX and mix with Parmesan and use in cooking.
Sampled the Date a Walnut loaf that Mab made. Lovely.
The health bit was the watermelon .

We had a car run yesterday and a full day outside doing nothing always exhausts me, so it was sausages and mash for dinner. Tonight is Pesto Chicken with Risoni from the Cook key

Home made quiche made the other day , coleslaw and lettuce with avacardo . Cheats dessert brought tarimasu and lemon cheese cake in a jar, made fresh by a really nice cafe , they even provided the lid . Popped into my Yeti car fridge , ice blocks in there too . All super cold even though I had been in 38 degrees car travel for an hour .

K Atie , all sounds nice.  We love our car fridge.
Steak and salad tonight.  Watermelon and plum jelly.  I put cubes of the jelly into the fruit salad when I make it.

What a lovely idea Chookie. While all the lovely fruit is around we have fresh  fruit salad going all the time.

Tonight we are having the leftovers from last nights pearl couscous salad.
