Cookie, I love 4 bean mix with a little mayo and sliced celery.

We love to try different food when in Melbourne but it is difficult to eat ‘ light’.

Caravan food again, but tonight’s protein is pork chops. I bought a couple of small tins of 4 bean mix and I add those to the salad.
I think beans, nuts and seeds make a brilliant addition to almost any salad.

Last night we had a meat quiche with minted potatoes, broccoli, brussel sprouts and carrots.  Tonight will be left overs.

I totally agree Marina. I'm trying to educate the rest of our mob but I can't convince them, so I just add mine to my plate! They don't know what they are missing.

Last night we had salmon with asparagus, broccoli, corn ,carrot ,rice and mango salsa. Mangos are coming back into season and we all love the salsa . Dessert I got from a new cafe near school it is very smart . Donuts filled with chocolate mousse!! Only half each as they were huge . DD had made cupcakes with white chocolate icing DS and her had these . Both of them are doing cooking , DS came home with mini pies , one had feta on top , I missed out as was not home .

Delicious sounding food. I love the sound of the pie with feta on top.
We are having chicken burgers tonight with salad stuff, coleslaw, Jarlsberg cheese and red onion. We are even trying a Paul Newman ranch style dressing on them.

I’m making Timitar Wali Macchi ( Cod in Tomato Sauce) for dinner. The recipe is on the UK Cookidoo site.
