I'm going to try Tenina's Crio Bru Chilli Beef from FFS without the Crio Bru or the chilli!

Unfortunately I don't have any chilli's left and I just couldn't be bothered going back to the shops.  I've thrown in some chilli sauce so hopefully it won't be too lacking in flavour.  Instead of the crio bru I made up a concoction of raw cocoa powder and espresso.

Julie, that curry looks devine.

I think that should work  well for you VMS.
I just got the book and that's one of the recipes that I want to try. :)

MF, I've had the book for a while now (longer than I've had my TMX) and this is the first recipe I've tried.  For some reason I was more excited by the recipes in QFITT.  If this one works well I might be inspired to try more of the other recipes.

I don't have QFITT as I am waiting on the ebook which should be coming out soon.
Both books look really good.
Let us know how your beef turns out.
It's good to try new dishes  :)

We're having pumpkin soup and pizza.

Funny how people are different. I've got both books and I've only tried one recipe out of QFITT, but quite a few out of FFS.
I've made the chilli beef before and it is really yummy.
I cricked my neck last night, and was lacking inspiration for dinner tonight as my neck/shoulders are sore..  DH said he fancied lasagne, and he also remembered that we have one in the freezer. Last time I made lasagne, I cooked an extra and popped it in the freezer. Got to love him sometimes ;D :D
It's in the oven now. Easy peasy.

I am looking fwd to trying a few recipes out of both books. Looking at the contents of both I think I will use Tenina's book more but  who knows.
Love having pre cooked meals in the freezer ES especially on days when you don't feel like cooking.
Enjoy your lasagne it's a favourite in our house  :D

When I make lasagne, I do 2 or 3 at a time, to freeze..
My Thermomix,  Kitchen Aid, Pizza oven, Nu Wave 5 in 1, Spatulas, all brings love, laughter, happiness, and great food  to my kitchen.

Same here Robyn. Its just as easy to do 2 or 3 and have standbys for days when too busy to cook or when you are unwell.
I often double or triple the quanties when cooking.
But a new freezer is now a must  ;D

We only have a little freezer on the bottom of the fridge. I can't cook much in advance because I don't have enough room to store it :( But mum said she will buy a chest freezer when our kitchen renovations are done :D

I haven't made lasagne for over a year. I must cook it again soon :)

I have 2 fridge freezers at the moment but I need another freezer so that I can cook and freeze because the other two are not enough.
I love to have food pre cooked as it is great when family come in unexpectedly as I can feed them all easily.
You sure are lucky having all that fridge freezer space Robyn.
I will hopefully get one ne t week if I have time but if not I will definately get one when I come back from NZ early December in time for pre Christmas cooking  :)
Good that you are getting one after your renovations Amy  ;D

Mf we just came back from a cruise to NZ.  Are you going with any kids ? We went to this fantastic place about 30 mins from Auckland called snow planet.  My kids desperately wanted to see snow so after some research we found Snow Planet. Fantastic for kids !  I have heaps of photos if you want me to post some.
