That's fantastic news - congratulations! Speaking as one who has been told a number of times by Drs that I can't have children, I'm the proud mother of 2 beautiful girls. So who knows, maybe you'll end up as a Nana twice over

As my picture shows, I've suddenly become younger :-) DD was of the opinion that her picture should be here, not mine!

What lovely news JulieO! Congrats to you all. Keep us posted on the progress, won't you?
I can't wait to be a nan. I'm 53 too! My DD is living with her partner, no sign of wedding bells, but she's only 23. My younger DS has a gorgeous partner of two years, so fingers crossed!!

JuliieO, we have just had our GD to stay for 4 days, and we all had the best time. So much fun, even though she came in at 6.30am and climbed into bed with us, We went to the Fairy Cave, ate all the wrong things, had hour long baths, ate Rocky Road for the first time, sat up in the cafe and behaved like a 'big' person. She is 5. You are in for a real treat.

Chookie, sounds like you had the best of times. I'm hoping when he gets older he'll be able to come and stay with us for a few days too, now and then to give his mum and dad a break. It's weird because it doesn't seem that long since my dtr was a baby herself! Has gone way to fast. That's getting older for you!

Yes, hope you are having a lovely birthday Julie. I imagine you are in your kitchen cooking up a storm but really hope you are having a day off instead.
