It's been cold and wet here but we seem to have missed most of the strong winds so it's been good cooking weather. I've made Vegetable soup, Pumpkin soup, 2 tea cakes for visitors and biscuits for the bikkie jar.

Yes Mab, great cooking weather.
Today I’ve made 6 bottles of hot sweet chilli sauce. Started a bowl full of Feijoa and lemon fruit vinegar. Tonight I’ll make mushroom risotto with mushrooms from the swap. I

Yesterday I made a pot of Minestrone soup, today I will be roasting some veges and making a Spanish bean stew.

I made some jam that tastes like Turkish Delight. Quince, Rhubarb Apple and Rosewater. Made RTE piklets. Needed more milk but nice. I reheat them in the toaster.
Also made ratatouille and crumbed chicken,crumbed eggplant and mushrooms.
Chicken veggie soup in TMX.

Friend dropped off a box of lemons, limes and quinces. I’ve cooked the quinces with apples, in black current and apple juice. Undecided what to make.
Yesterday made citrus and whiskey marmalade.
Also given lots of small cucumbers. Will pickle some.

It's my birthday today and DD took us out to lunch to an Italian restaurant.
