Yes Chookie, it is Nan’s Fruit mince.
I made a ThermoMumma giant white loaf today and a Classic loaf.
Also some SD discard crackers.

More jam . Apricot and Berry and Nectarine.
Made Italian meatball pasta. Used meatballs from Wilson’s. So much nicer than the ones from the supermarket.
Mango fluff.

Today for the first time ever since having my tmx I cooked some rice for dinner tonight.  I can't believe how easy it was and wonder why I had never tried it before.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Mab, that’s great. I’ve been boiling eggs in mine. Wonder why I have not been doing this before.
Bought a box of jam apricots from Wilson’s. I’ve discovered that everyone loves apricot jam. It’s just apricots, lemon juice and sugar.
TMX 7 has the option of cooking with lid off. The temperature will not go over 100 degrees. Also, when  speed 2 or lower is used the lid is not locked. However if you don’t select lid off option, the machine stops if you remove the lid. Hope that makes sense.

Katie, the Apricots from Wilsons were large if bought by the Kilo. $4.50. The box ones were smaller and $20 for a box of 5 k. Aldi’s were $7.50 a kilo.
The large ones had a better flavour. I think the small ones may have been picked while still green as the flavour wasn’t as good. They still made very tasty jam. With the last Kilo I will make sone paste to have with cheese.
Last night I sat in front of TV and removed skin from a kilo of Almonds and shelled a kilo of
Pistachios . I’ve left the Almonds out overnight to dry out.

I made a loaf of Thermomumma’s white bread for DH and a Classic loaf.
I managed to get them out of the oven just before we had a massive storm hit. DD and I both yelled everytime the thunder was right over head. It’s ok a little bit away but when it booms over the house I yell. 😀😀😀😀
We were lucky and had very little wind.

Butternut, capsicum and potato in a puff pastry plait (except I didn't do the plait part - too fiddly for me) and my usual standby when the freezer is getting low - vege stew.  Also roasted up load of stray veges that were lurking around the house.
Marina from Melbourne and Guildford

Finally found a good recipe for cheese biscuits. I took some to neighbours afternoon tea for a taste test. They gave them thumbs up .Perfect to make in TMX. Will post.   Portuguese Tarts still the most popular. Local bakery makes bit size cream puffs. Everyone raves about them. I don’t like them as the shell is soft. They have requested I bring some of mine to next event. Probably New Year’s Eve party.
