Hapy dance! Happy Dance!
« on: November 29, 2009, 03:27:32 am »
Tomorrow is my demo and order day!! WOOHOO!!  I'm so excited to see the TMX in action.

For those demo's here, can I request something be made if there's time?  I'd LOVE to see the TMX make butter.

My DH is still not convinced, but I'm going to get him to come home for an early lunch to catch the end of the demo so he can see it working and what the demonstrator made.  I am sooo excited!!

I've got big plans for my bimby!

Don't get yourself too excited, you might have a heart attack and miss your demo  ;) ;) ;)  I can understand your excitement though - hope DH makes it in time to get his taste of the food before others eat the lot.

Yep - same here - but I think she may have done it at the end of demo when everyone was eatting risotto and rolls just came out of the oven. But you would think it's better to do when bowl it quite cool and not hot. ;)

......and they say I have a warped sense of humour !!!  :o :o :o  Now she's stealing my lines  ;D ;D ;D

What consultant would be silly enough to say "Computer says "No" " - if it meant closing a sale ??

Yep, we did butter on Thursday night at a demo as the customer really wanted to see it made. That is what sold her the machine in the end...so worth while to do it!! (if asked of course lol)

OH I LOVED the demo!!  It was fabulous!  I've signed up for the 9 months interest free and am tempted to become a demonstrator so as to pay the rest off without putting stress on our bank account.

My demonstrator reckons it would be about 5 machines sold to pay it off.  Is that about right?  Or would it be more?

Now I can't wait to get the phonecall from MyBuy so my order can be processed. :)

Yeah - 5 machines and you have no more to pay but 6 machines and you get all of your deposit back and don't end up paying a cent for it. But it was hard going for me and I only sold 5 - but I was happy with only paying about $350 all up! ;)

Nay-Nay, I've taken up the 9 months interest free so no deposit.  I figure if I use the machine and get used to it, if I do choose to demo it, I should be a full bottle by then.

OK. Now I REALLY need some help.  DH is less than happy that I've nearly gone through with the interest free thingy.  Totally oblivious to how I NEED it.  Can you give me the lines you used on your partners to convince them that it is a good investment?

I'm tempted to just do it and sod him but I figure for my marriage I best come up with some reasonings.

I figure the money I've already saved the family by clothing us exclusively on Op shop clothes the last year (yes I've not bought ONE thing new, other than undies, socks and bras oh and shoes), I already make my own bread, tomato sauces, sew clothing for the kids too, make other things to see at the markets.  What else do I have to do to save this family money??!!! Jeepers!

Bring on your lines please!

(The next morning after the demo)

DH: don't tell me???...  ???
Me: I bought it   ;D
DH: knew you would!  :-))
Me: yep, done deal  ;D

Now he can't stop telling all his friends how good it is (but he can't help himself, he still thinks that it is too expensive). But what price do you put on being motivated to cook, good food, and good health. Did I mention good wife who might chuck a wobbly if she doesn't get to have a treat every once in a while  ;D ;D ;D (joke...  ;) not). I think I can justify the price because it really is a well used appliance.

Did he actually get to see what it did?? Did you tell him it is totally made in France designed in Germany? Did you tell him it goes at top speed 10200revs! Faster than a race car! Has he tasted sorbet?? You really can't do that in 1 minute in any other machine. Did you tell him your going to get things done sooo much faster, be less stressed and have more time to spend with him?  ;) If all else fails I find forgiveness comes easier than permission - awww naughty!!  ;) :D ;D
