My Darling Gert, so sorry to hear this news. So glad that you had the normal marriage of ups and downs, that's what we all have. Ted is taking the ultimate flight now. No more pain, no more suffering.

Gert, I don't know you personally but have always admired your postings on the forum.

To you and your family I wish you the blessings and comfort in knowing that Ted was loved and cherished by his family and friends.

Dearest Gert, it is wonderful that the two of you were able to spend these part weeks preparing for what we all one day have to face.  You are so right most of us don't, and sure have set an example to us all.

Gert you should be so proud of yourself,  The love and care you have shown Ted is truly inspirational.  He is at peace now!

Honestly you girls are so cheeky. Just because I don't like people to fuss and send flowers and bubbles doesn't meant I don't love it if you do! Is that a contradiction? Nevermind I will impatiently away the GOOD bubbles .

Thank you all for your many kindnesses not only now  but also in the past. What a wonderful place this is. I only have to look at my fridge and know someone is always there for me.

Gert, so sorry to hear of the passing of Ted.  The mature and dignified way you and Ted have dealt with this sad sad time is refreshing and inspirational.
