I have just changed service providers for my mobile phone.  I'm not particularly tech savvy and the lady on the phone that was helping me was very patient with me and finally we managed to get everything working successfully.  I have my fingers crossed that it all stays that way.

Well done Mab and Katie.
Tomorrow DD is taking me to a private Zoo to see some Pigmy Possums. Belated Mothers Day event. She is raising money for them.
Lots of people coming and going with Quinces and Figs. Many friends either ill or have had nasty accidents.

Cookie, thanks for all your effort with a difficult forum situation .

Mab, I’ve tried to send you a PM but it won’t send. Just a thank you for the lovely gift.

Thanks Cookie for letting us know that the forum was up again.  Although I don't post so often I have missed the chit chat.

Chookie, I've been meaning to ask how the trip you arranged went - hope everyone behaved themselves!

Our Scottish cousins have been and gone - a hectic week - I ended up with 8 loads of washing, between bed linen, etc.  Fortunately it was a wonderful warm weekend so everything got washed and dried.

Went to an osteo last week - knee replacement coming up for me sometime - I am trying to put it off until Xmas as I can handle the pain for now - so I can recuperate when we are closed down for the holiday.  I don't know if I can pull that off or not, but I'll have a chat with the surgeon soon.

My knees are like jelly at the moment so i best keep up with my caltrate tablets I think . Although blood specialist said my calcium was good .I’m feeling very flat , think it might be the weather as well .
DD had an iron infusion the other day and now is rather reacting to it , flu like symptoms and headaches. Not good at all . DH crop is being eaten- he is not happy ! Hopefully tomorrow is a better day .

Don’t know what is going on. Many of our Probus group are ill or have had accidents. The very bright spot was yesterday when DD and GC and partners, and me , went to a small Australian creatures zoo. There were lots of young kids, probably preppies, there. They were so excited and got to handle small native creatures. DD is raising money for research and a breeding programme for the Pigmy Possums. We then went for lunch at nice Cafe at Macedon.
I’ve planted lots of veggie seedlings.

I decided to have the NBN connected and a man came today to install the box on the wall.  I now have to wait for the men to come and lay the cable and connect it all up.  They will probably have to dig up part of the lawn to do this.

Sent on errands ! Canola to be inoculated with bug chemical ! Yes the earwigs are eating it ! Then off to pick up another farm supply! Amazing timing to get it to our spraying contractor as he was loading up. The emergency siren went off ! We found out later a rollover of a small farm vehicle! They are ok but not great to happen. What an amazing afternoon weather wise . DD is ok feeling better but still not 100 .

My brother called in this morning for a coffee.  We don't live far from each other and don't seem to catch up very often.

Saw the Michael Jackson film today with Probus. Not my sort of music but enjoyed the film.

We travelled the great distance from last nights free camp to Kondinin. It was 30km. We went exploring to a place called Yeerokine rock. It’s an Anzac memorial at the top of a hill.
