We had to have the motorhome in for its first service by 8 am. It’s was quite away to go (about 35km each way) DH delivered it and I picked him up. We called into home and changed into our glad rags and headed off to a funeral. A gorgeous lady from car club. It was a grave side service so quite long. When we put our phones back on we had a message to say the motorhome was ready to pick up. We decided to go and get it there and then.
We got home about 2. We must be getting old as we both needed a nanna nap.

Marina, I’ve been wearing those for years. Well worth the bit extra.

I've decided to try supermarket home delivery for some of our groceries mainly the heavier items.  I will still buy my own veggies and meat.   1st delivery tomorrow.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Mab, I’ve used Woolies home delivery in the past. Just watch how much they charge you. I’ve also used Wilson’s which is a local green grocer and deli. Free delivery.

Saw specialist for pinched nerve. Changed medication and explained exactly what it is was and what can be done. Age related and may be healed with time. Keep moving . Physiologist at Gym has written a program of exercises. My left arm is very weak, I’m left handed so trying to build muscle in it. I now have to teach myself to lift TMX bowl with right hand.

Cookie, history tells us left handed people are special.  ;D
The medicine the specialist has suggested is awful. I’m very unstable and not confident to go out. I’m hoping that improves as my brain gets used to ti.

I’m not too sure about being creative. Artistically I’m useless.

Chookie DD suggested to give your pharmacist a call re your medication. There may be excellent alternatives that they can run past your doctor.  Or alternatively they may be able to help with the symptoms or tell you if they will pass in time.

We had a car run today. This one is usually very popular as it’s in a lovely place and is always cool. Sadly it was a very poor turn out. We are beginning to realise that our club is slowly dying. We can’t seem to attract younger members as they are more interested in cars of the 50’s, 60’s on onward. Not the very old ones. We are going to put our thinking caps on and see if we can come up with anything.

Good luck with that cookie, perhaps you could pick people up from retirement villages and take them for a run. I’m sure they’d love to be out and about in the old vehicles.
Chookie I didn’t know you were left handed either! The TM7 bowl is rather heavy so be careful. It sounds like recovery will take some time, good to hear your gym has written a programme for you to increase strength. You can do this my friend.

That's a strong reaction to your treatment Chookie.  Cookie's DD's suggestion of chatting with your chemist sounds like a good idea.

It's starting to warm up again later in the week ... keep cool and comfortable.
