Marina, have a great time and enjoy wearing your new purchases.
I ordered 2 down puffer jackets from NZ. Moke. Great for Ballarat weather. One is an over shirt. Not as bulky but very warm. The other is a vest. I’m now covered for all contingencies.

Have a great time Marina, there’s nothing like a break from work. Take care.

Enjoy your break Marina.
Mab, it is hard to make the decision for an operation.  Hopefully it will fix your problems and you can tuck into the same foods everyone else eats. Take care.

Chookie we are loving the motorhome. On Thursday evening it rained a bit and we found water on the top of a couple of cupboards. It’s the first rain we’ve had since having it. We couldn’t figure out where it was getting in. It’s rained again today and we now realise that 2 windows are leaking. We aren’t very happy.  Such an expensive thing and the windows leak.  We will have to chase them up Monday morning.

Thanks for the good wishes everyone.  We head off in a couple of hours then 40 hours travel, door to door, to Turino in northern Italy.  1 week there then on to Cremona (of course - the violin maker's dream town!), Milan and Switzerland, via the scenic Bernina Express train through the alps and 4 days at a friend's house on one of the Swiss lakes before the 30 hour trek back home!  I nearly blew my 7 kg carry on limit, but just scraped in (we always go with carry on luggage only, it really is so much easier and more convenient when travelling a lot from place to place - you just have to do the laundry more often).

Enjoy your trip to NZ Chookie.  It is a stunningly beautiful country and I know you will love it.  It has changed a lot since I lived there and I don't know if I could go back again for any length of time - not many people I know are left now.

Cookie, what a nuisance. Still not a major issue. We also haven’t had any rain for weeks. They are pumping water into Ballarat.
Marina, how very smart of you to take only carry on luggage.
Today I’ll rug up and finish the garden. I’m planting lots of parsley.

That should be interesting Chookie. Who is the author?
Marina I think Gert only ever travelled with carry on luggage. Probably sensible.

Marina have a great trip ! Sounds beautiful. Foot appointment today , much better so keeping up with Vitamin D and the strong urea cream . He said that the wart is on top of a pumping blood vessel , that’s why it’s so painful! But improving.

I had my hair cut this morning and then did the shopping.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Cookie, the Author was Phil Roberts. A local Ballarat man. All of his writings are about Ballarat.
I’ve spent most of the day organizing for a TMX 7 demo. I’ll probably have my machine in the first week of June. The demo will be on Saturday the 14 th of June. My hair dresser wants a 7 so we have worked around when she is available.
I’ve spent some of my time looking at the deal for the 6. This closes on June 2.
In my opinion it’s better to go for the 7.

Chookie I’ve been sitting on the fence about the TM6 deal , although I know I’ll edit for awhile re the TM7 . Met up with a friend yesterday and then a stop at Wilson’s. Today a very quiet one as my arm hurts from lots of driving. DH had to go to pick up parts a few hours away for the seeder ( another breakdown) . He came home with Rhubarb! He has requested a rhubarb cake for his birthday later on .

KAtie, I went through the 6 deal, compared to the 7. With a friend. We both felt that the 7 was the go. He has a 31 which he has had for 13 years , to trade in. His thoughts were that with a new model , it has to be progressive. I have to say that cooking with the lid off appeals to me as well as getting rid of the arms on the 6 which I’m forever cleaning.

I’m looking forward to the 7 very much. I was told verbally that I should get it next week. It’s a holiday here Monday so we will see.

Cookie, holiday here also on Monday. I’m having a day off today.  Although I notice it’s  National Cookie Day. So I will just have to make some biscuits. I think , chocolate, rye and tahini. .

You will both be very excited when you get your new TM7s . I made cookies on National Cookie day without realising it .
