I did a few bits and pieces around the house. We hope to go away for a few days on Tuesday.

Very cold this morning. 0 degrees. Was rung by shop in Daylesford to say Kefir grains that I ordered before Xmas had arrived.  Will drive there after Tai Chi to pick them up.

Whilst walking through a major bookshop yesterday I spied Nagi's new book - on display right next to Brooki Brooks' book!  Interesting that a book shop did this, although I guess they should show impartiality.

Marina, smart marketing. I was inspired a gift shop yesterday and even the young shop assistant was thalidomide about that.
Lunch for 2 friends from Gym. I’ve cooked Beef in Stout in TMX. Also mashed potato. They said they would like a stew.  They don’t cook. They buy those takeout meals from the Supermarket. When telling another friend what I was cooking, she said, “ there is mashed potato and there’s Bess’s mashed potato. “, I make it in the TMX and it’s just potato, cream, salt and pepper.

Sounds delicious Chookie.
We set out for a few days away today. We are at Cervantes up the coast a bit. https://www.google.com/search?q=cervantes&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en-au&client=safari

Somehow we went down an incorrect road and ended up at Nambung Station. We didn’t bring any paper maps and there was no coverage to use any form f GPS. We ended up back tracking, down heaps of roadworks. Cervantes is a small crayfishing town.

Last night I managed to get to yoga . After a huge day standing in the paddock while DH was being filmed . It was hilarious , we laughed all day and learnt a lot. Thankfully my simple sponge with fresh raspberries in it went down well . DH DB called by as well . Lunch had been organised from the local bakery pizzas mini pies galore . Think there was about 14 people ! And big machinery ! Cannot say too much but honestly it was an experience for DH . It was so cold too .

Firstly I didn’t wake until 9.15 so my day’s plans to make an infrequent trip to Aldi to check out FODMAP items flew out the window. I had a Puratap fitted this afternoon.

We drove on to Jurien Bay today. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jurien_Bay,_Western_Australia
It was early when we arrived as we drove round exploring. Once we are in the caravan park it’s hard to go out again. They said they were booked out but found us a spot. Being so big we can’t fit everywhere.

A phone appointment with my specialist yesterday.  I have decided it is time to agree to the operation on my esophagus.  Apart from soups and supplement drinks I am not eating very much and have lost some more weight so it's time to do something about it.  The operation will be done in about 4 - 5 weeks time and just overnight in hospital.

Best wishes Mab. It sounds like you have tried everything.
Gym this morning and gardener this afternoon. He trimmed the Clematis back. I had already done several, he did the rest.
Dr appointment went well. Added vitamin D to the pills I already take. Someone told me they think that everyone in Ballarat is taking these.

Good luck with the op Margaret, you’ve certainly put up with the problem for long enough.
