On Friday DH and I decided to go to Lucindale SA field day ! So off to Conawarra on Friday. This was five minutes from Penola a cute town . Booked dinner there and wow what an amazing meal . Saturday we drove to field day . It is super dry in SA , but the weather was beautiful . We had a great day and I even watched this amazing female butcher break down ( cut up ) a whole lamb and later that day a whole goat ! We got to go out to dinner at the hotel in Penola , nice . We then did a coastal drive down to Port MacDonnell , Nelson and Portland . A lot in a weekend but nice to go somewhere different too. Last night went to DGF to do the pre chop up tomatoes for a Tomarto relish to be made the next day .

I really fancy going to the garden show as well - it is just down the road from us, but I cannot justify the time off, which is a shame.  I haven't been able to get there for a couple of years and, I have to admit, the standard wasn't as good as it had been pre-COVID.  Hope it is wonderful this year, Chookie.  Let us know what you thought of it.

Mab, I remember you telling us that you worked at the garden show. I’ve only been once before. I’m hoping to buy some bulbs.
I had a pornagraphic picture posted in my facebook . I didn’t know what to do about it. Contacted my GD who is very good with computers. I was cautious about trying to remove it as I didn’t want more of the same. Under her instructions I deleted it and was bombarded with lots more but finally got rid of it. Her comment amused me. gross.

Not fun Chookie. People have nothing better to do. The Nasho Fair Go Facebook page has had quite a few posted. Fortunately the guy that runs it is pretty good.

I did my grocery shopping today.

Our new budgie sits on someone’s shoulder most of the day. I just carry on, but I have to get him used to the vacuum.  He’s scared of it at the moment. Saves me having to vacuum!

What a cute wee budgie.  We used to have them when I was young - they always had the same name so there was always confusion if we referred to one of the earlier ones.

I made it to the Garden Show in the end  It has certainly bounced back since the last one I was at.  I couldn't get anywhere near any of the stands selling plants, unfortunately, but still managed to spend a good few dollars!

Cookie, what a cute little budgie.

Marina, I hope you enjoyed the garden show. It's not hard to spend your money at these shows.

Last night at dinner at the hotel I had a lesson in using AI. It was very interesting as DS, DIL and DD are very computer aware. It created a new label for my Jam. Not very artisticly creative but adequate. I won’t be using it.
Today I’ll be shopping for odds and ends that I can’t get in Ballarat.
Have been told to expect new TMX in June.

For Xmas DH bought tickets to a Food and Wine Show long lunch at Babajis, an Indian restaurant in Warburton, so that is where we got to yesterday.  There were a good 100+ people there and the tables and chairs were all set up alongside the river.  A beautiful spot, an enjoyable meal and a lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Marina, that sounds lovely.
Today I’m recovering from my trip to Melbourne.
Last Tai Chi for this term.
