You had me panicking for you there for a while Marina LOL.  So glad you realised what day it was before waking DH. I hope you get most of those jobs done today and have a better sleep tonight.

Another epic day yesterday for DD and I . Went to Melbourne for DD skin specialist and dentist. Visited GP re DD ankle - off to sports Imaging for X-Ray and ultra sound ! Ankle has swelling  around the Achilles tendon . Anti inflammatory and Physo. Ok the skin specialist - let's give her the once over eg check whole body , this does not sit well with a teenager! Then her little 1.5mm black spot on her face - removal now 🙁 Brave girl and mum ! one stitch later . Visit DM who is about to have knee surgery in a few weeks 15 mins have to leave for the dentist. That was not to bad but stronger wire . Late drive home . We managed an epic mid morning brunch earlyer in the day . A bit of shopping - jacket for DD ,also Bed bath and table are having a huge sale 70 % off flannel sheets and PJ's 50% off .  The sheets we worked out were free !

A very full day for you Katie, it’s nice to get all these things out of the way in one visit. Great shopping too!

Marina and Katie, I am tired just reading about what you have done.
DD and I went shopping today.  The shop we were going to had closed down so not to wanting to waste the day :) :) we went to Fountain Gate shopping centre and then on to our favourite restraunt for lunch.  We had a lovely day out.

K atie, you had a far more traumatic day than me.  Hope everything turns out well for your brood.

I have to say, my day got worse - yes, it is possible to get worse.  I was "going like the clappers" this morning getting everything prepared for our accountant who was due to come in around 10.30 am to go through and pick up the end of year papers when, 10 minutes before he arrived, I got the dreaded BSOD - "Blue Screen Of Death" on my computer.  I turned my back on it for one minute and the screen went black then blue with a couple of ominous messages on the screen. Oh B*u^%@r.  I couldn't believe it.  In the end I had to drive out to our computer technician's workshop, 3/4 of an hour away on a horribly busy freeway that I was not familiar with, then wait there for an hour or two whilst he fixed it (turned out to be the memory card / RAM) then had to drive back to work - arrived about 5.45 pm, just in time to plug everything back in again then close the doors for the day.

On the positive side, DH has now done the preparation work for the NBN guys coming in at 7.00 tomorrow morning  ;)

Phew, a hectic time there for you Marina.  I would have hated using a freeway I wasn’t familiar with, in fact I couldn’t drive in Melbourne at all!

Oh Marina, I do hope you are able to relax over the weekend, and you too K Atie.
Chookie I hope you are feeling better and that your back is improving Margaret.

I went to our local Westfield this morning to pay my car insurance and phone bill. I bought a navy with white spot sort of windcheater at Suzanne Grae. DH was most complimentary, he said it made me look like a Nancy quoll. Men!

Marina and K Atie,  hell. How did you both cope!! I would have had a melt down.
K Atie, tell DD she shouldn’t have any mark left by that stitch.  I had a similar little op last year,  no sign now.
A warning passed on by DD who is a Dentist.  My teeth are in good condition but she said that any work on them should be done sooner  rather than later. She has several clients in their 90 s.  She said people put off having work done on their teeth because they don’t think they will live until that age. It is much harder having filling or teeth removed  when you are in your 90 s.

K Atie,  bring on the red moon if it improves the weather.
Visitors for lunch tomorrow.  Trying to prepare everything before hand.
Creswick swap.  Not many there but the Quince Jelly and crumpets that I took all went.  I came home with plants . And this handmade cak stand.  Thought to be 110 years old.

We had a car run today. We went up one of the main streets of the city, through the city centre (St George’s Terrace) up to King’s Park and back through the city centre. We even got a beep from a big Mack truck. We then went down to Fremantle via the posh suburbs  of Perth,on the river to Buckland Hill. There we got a tour through the tunnels from WW 2. They were very impressive. Some very steep stairs but fun. They even had a list of men and women who had gone to war from Western Australia. I was able to find Dad’s and 2 of his brothers names.
Then on the way home we got ANOTHER flat tyre. We were just driving along the road, heard this big whoosh! And a flat tyre. Lucky there was a spot we could pull over and change it.

It’s funny how a full day out in the fresh air can make you sleepy!
