Today we had Chookie and Ral for lunch.  What a lovely couple and a most relaxing afternoon spent under our elm tree; however, I have just realised we forgot to offer them tea or coffee before they left - perhaps they will come back soon for a 'cuppa.
How lovely to catch up with wonderful friends.

Yesterday we spent a lovely day with Marina and her DH.   What wonderful hosts. Marina produced a scrumptious  lunch and her DH made Crack bread. Lovely. We explored their lovely ‘ escape’  and envied their many fruit trees in their orchard. We sat under the beautiful Elm tree which was like an outside room . An unforgettable experience.  Marina, we didn’t miss tea or coffee. Plenty to drink and lots of talk. Thanks a million for such a pleasant day.

What a great place to sit, relax and enjoy the company of others.  A lovely way to start the New Year.

It looks the perfect place for an afternoon spent chatting and more chatting. It's very pretty Marina.

We picked up our new mattress and base today. DH got sick of being nagged. We only ordered it a week ago.  Very impressed, as it had to be made. It was locally.

What a lovely spot for lunch.  :D

Home from the Gold Coast on Tuesday. Heading off for the weekend to Sydney. Staying at Dural.
Haven't been to Sydney in a while, so looking forward to it.
