I've hot a name for the canary Mandi. DS5 made a quail out of recycled boxes at school on Friday. It looks really good, but when I enquirer about its name he replied, his name is bacon mummy? Mmmmm what do you think Mandi?

Um I'm not sure about Bacon, not much meat on a canary lol :)
But thanks for the suggestion :D

Had my skin cancer removed this morning. It's a bit sore now the numbness has worn off. 3 stitches. Let's hope they got it all cause I don't want to go back. The needles didn't worry me or the stitches, it was more the noise of the doctor slicing away at the flesh. Yuck makes my stomach churn.

Make him talk to you dede, you don't hear as much that way.  ;D ;D ;D I hope it doesn't scar too much for you.
I'm pacing myself doing the ironing today. The phone has been ringing non stop for DH who is out.

Cookie I could of got him to talk to me but I find it hard to understand what he says. I wouldn't want to say yes to something I didn't understand to a doctor with a scalpel in his hand :D
My doctor is away on holiday so this doctor had to do the procedure instead.

I was up bright and early and started to clean my very messy house when  a friend rang and said 'I am off to the movies, want to come', so I put off the housework and had an enjoyable time at the movies and lunch; have done that for years.

Glad it is over for you Dede.
Troupie, how lovely.  Housework always waits...unfortunately.

I would have done the same thing Troupie, housework can always wait.

All over now Mandi, hope you're not still feeling sore.

Dede, I hope you are feeling OK now.
Troupie, I probably should have gone into work today to catch up, but went to the movies instead with a girlfriend. It's been ages since we've done it, but we thoroughly enjoyed Woody Allen's latest movie

I completed most of the ironing CC. I saved a little bit for tomorrow.  :D
What movie did you see troupie?  I want to see Gone Girl when it starts.

EmeraldSue we probably saw the same move; I am pretty sure it was a Woody Allen one; cant remember the name properly but it was something about a Moon and I really enjoyed it; especially all the costumes, beautiful old cars and just the scenery. Cookie you would have loved the cars. It was set about 1929.
